What's the biggest frustration that affiliate marketers deal with on a daily basis?

Curious to see if there's something in common in the affiliate marketing space, and if I can be of help with what helped me get full-time results with it.

Time, there are only 24 hours in a day and some of those hours are needed for other things like sleep, family, etc

I see addiction to outcomes being super frustrating to many affiliates B. Like, folks who want to make money online through affiliate marketing now, or within the months, then goose eggs show up 3 months from now and frustration sets in. Big time deflating factor for many people in the game. Me included for many, many eons I mean years hehehe....

The biggest frustration? Probably looking to direct link themselves into overnight success. Nobody wants to take their time these days. It's amazing. Scientists say people are starting to live longer these days, but many affiliates act like they're going to die next week if they don't earn $5,000/month within the next 30 days.

I've talked with a lot of affiliate marketers over the years, and a lot of them don't realize that they need to have some type of audience in order to be successful.

A few affiliate marketers have asked me "What's the best way to promote my affiliate links".

I often times reply "Who is your audience and what are they really interested in? What are their top frustrations?".

Sometimes, the response is that they don't have an audience at all; so they aren't really sure how they're going to get website traffic to their links in the first place.

So, I would say that the frustrations affiliate marketers have, aren't so different compared to other entrepreneurs.

They don't really have a big audience, they aren't sure WHO their ideal audience is, and so they cannot be sure what the top frustrations of their ideal client is.

(In which case, it can be really difficult to create content that's designed to help them, right?).

As always, this is just my humble two cents after brainstorming this stuff a ton over the years, right here on this nifty little forum.

Gonna agree with you on that! When I built a targeted audience for myself on Facebook (using only my profile), everything took a turn in my journey!

Anyone can build relationships and become friends with people in their niche!

One of the biggest frustrations in internet marketing, I think, is being viewed as a "scammer" by others out there. I just saw some really educational tutorials on YouTube from another marketer! He knew what he was talking about. But he was getting "trashed" by people who did not recognize that the guy is knowledgeable. calling him a "scammer". This is the biggest stereotype you're going to have to fight against from those outside of IM. It's up to you, through your own knowledge and the quality of your own products and information, to prove them wrong.

Google As an affiliate, your biggest challenge is getting traffic to your website and ultimately convert. Many new affiliate marketers have their hair turned "grey" when focus too much with google and its analytics? Google needs content as much as affiliates need to be on the SERP. Have a great weekend @binelus

Not getting the results they wanted, dreamed of, or expected.

Of course, there are lots of varying reasons why this happens . . . but isn't it the ultimate "end of the row" frustration?

    Hey There,

For me it would be finding evergreen offers. I have set a few promos in the past on autopilot thinking the offers were evergreen, even confirmed a few with some marketers. Come to find out, I test the links a month later and doesn't work.

    Why?

Because the marketer decided to pull the offer from the marketplace, DOH! (face-palm)
