hi
I want to create a site, but there is a tough competition (Niche)
I want to raise the order of the site on the first page within 3 months in any way

1/ So, what is the best way, do you buy an old or new domain?
2/ Is Google still depends on the keywords in the domain name !!

Yes, If the old domain have good backlinks from high authority websites than you might consider it. A new domain name is also a good option but it will take few months to rank if you have done proper on page and off page SEO.

IMO, purchase a new domain as the benefits from an expired domain almost never outweigh the risks of an old domain or the time it takes to be sure that it won't do you harm in the long run.

In support of a new domain:
    • You can choose a brandable dot com name that suits your business positioning perfectly. There are many, many great dot com names still available in every niche.
    • Google and other search engines know when a domain changes ownership. They aren't going to reward the new owner for the linking or SEO efforts of the old domain, especially when the subject and all the pages of a site change.
    • New domains are "clean." Expired domains have history and can be blacklisted by Google and others. In addition, you never know what garbage is linked to the old domain that you are taking on.
    • The "benefits" of expired domains are largely over-rated by those that sell ex-domain courses, software, and the domains themselves.
Go to Impossibility.org or LeanDomainSearch.com and you will quickly find some great names that you can purchase in your niche.

I'd remove these 2 fears Roger:

I want to create a site, but there is a tough competition (Niche)

This is fear of competition, which is not there, since you and I live in abundance.

I want to raise the order of the site on the first page within 3 months in any way

This is the fear of losing money, feeding an unrealistic expectation of reaching page 1 in 3 months.

When you feel and remove each fear, you clearly see your path, whether old or new domain.

Buying an old domain is like buying a used car.

It could be a great deal, it could be a lemon.

I'd personally rather start my own domain and brand and at least know what I'm getting myself into.

    Just my thoughts.

    Hi

Old domain may have DA & PA but not sure to get rank soon because of some bad links or penalty.

You have to check these points before you go.

    Hey There,

I would go ahead and purchase and brand new domain name relevant to whatever you re trying to rank for then use domainhole.com to grab a few expired/aged domains.

Then continue to drive backlinks to the old/expired domains, and like the old/expired domains to the new site

    Creating a silo effect.

    Roger, I agree with Eric.

The Silo technique is great and there are not many websites that currently use it. You may have a little more difficult to create right but no youtube has some old / good tutorials.

I think you have already purchased your new main domain. Now buy some expired domains to create your own PBN. Search for news portals (healthy / good metrics) that have expired, search their content on waybackmachine and rebuild with the same content / posts. Done, that's basically like you bought poweful links on a current news portal. You will fly in the SERP!

I think this is the most powerful way to create quality PBNs.
