Lately I've been getting a ton of wordpress comment spam. I should probably update that blog to the latest version, but I almost don't want to.

It seems someone has taken to providing corny jokes in their spam. Is it still spam if you laugh?

Here are some samples...

Why are cowboy hats turned up at the sides? So three cowboys can ride in a pickup truck.

Did you hear about the dentist who married a manicurist? They fight tooth and nail!

Would a fly without wings be called a walk?
Weird, but amusing.

Anyone else getting these comments?

    Yeah actually I'm getting them a lot, and theyre passing through Akismet

    I honestly dont want them on my blogs. I banned the IPs that they were coming from, so hopefully that slows them down for a bit.
