Marketing is the greatest skill you can develop

I see many people starting a Shopify or ecommerce store because they think its easy to make money this way. It's not.

Most of them fail because they don't know anything about marketing.

Whether you are selling you your products or someone else's products, you have to know how to do online marketing. Once you understand how to place an ad in front of a very targeted audience and how to convince the customer to buy through a sales funnel, you can make money fast.

With affiliate marketing, you are simply using a product already selling which is in my opinion, 5 times easier than starting your own ecommerce store.

I want o know your stories and how successful others are online so that we can all help each other creating passive income and living a life of freedom.

    First post? Then I must ask you if you are looking for everyone's stories, or perhaps you are looking for everyone's secrets. :-) You'll pardon my cynicism. I've seen hundreds of this type of post.

    There's no such ting as 'passive income' and 'living a life of freedom' is a very subjective term. When I was working at what I wanted to be doing, I was living a life of freedom. I was free to choose how I spent my day.

    I'm thinking that you envision resting in a hammock on a beach, while your PayPal account is continuously and passively fed through your sheer marketing brilliance - as freedom.

    Do I have that about right? Good luck with that.

    I don't think my story would interest you. I worked long, hard and smart to achieve financial independence and the freedom that it has brought me, late in life. I'm guessing that scenario has no allure for you.

    For me Dave, helping people for free across a wide range of channels is the best skill I developed. Definite science to this one LOL, as most put in little time working, then obsess over outcomes, rarely putting in time unless they see some tangible results.

    it is a clarity thing. Folks clear on affiliate marketing find it easy to sell over the long haul. Folks clear creating their own products and services find it easier to sell over the long haul. Plus, if you patiently create your own product it is an instant trust builder, where selling affiliate stuff does not prove you know your stuff Just that you can grab a short link hehehe.....All about clarity though; go with what feels good, and fun, and your success follows.

    I think success in affiliate marketing is all about having the right content and positioning your website to be easily discovered, which results to high traffic. No traffic no sale!
