Internet marketing is a vast area, so it depends on what you are doing, and what you are willing to leave to someone else to do.

I've, and I'm hiring for several tasks:
- Mounting WP websites
- Posting and formatting content
- Accomplishing tasks required by certain marketing tools
- Market research and reporting
- Graphics creation
- Keyword research
- Writing content
- Webmastering web assets
- etc...

Anything can be outsourced, apparently, even admin tasks but personally I've not experimented that part, yet.

Ron Legrand says "The less I do, the more I make". Anything that keeps you from actually making you money, assign to a VA. How about making a list that starts with the things you absolutely HATE doing. You can certainly pay them by the task of the hour.

Writing emails probably and then scheduling them as broadcasts, automated income!

I've got a VA from Onlinejobsph working for me right now and these are some of the tasks she's been doing for me:

- manage my social media accounts
- interact and post content
- give me page insight reports
- Answer the simpler inquiries on my inbox
- write content


Basically anything I don't have the time for, I have her do it.Graphics and video editing aren't her strong suits though, so I just hire another extra hand if I do need a fancier image or video done that I can't do myself.

Finally, based on a zillion years of experience, one major thing I recommend an assistant for (especially powerful for the co-founder of the previous business I ran, though it took him ages to get used to the idea and take action on it): have this person follow you around, write down all the ideas you come up with, follow up with other people, remind you of your calendar, and basically manage you by giving you structure.

I don't know how many great ideas have been lost because founders are so busy they simply forget about them. My previous co-founder and I would find spreadsheets we'd made 6 months ago in Google Team Drive and look at each other--"What the heck is this?" Like Gandalf in Moria: "I have no memory of this place." The pace of business is extremely fast and we all move on quickly. Having that extra brain around to keep track of all this stuff is a huge help. Of course, you are going to need a special kind of person. Maybe you don't start them at 40 hours a week. Maybe you have them in one day a week. But I guarantee it'll help.

Most founders are so sloppy they dash from place to place, firefighting, and don't finish anything well. It's so easy to get off into the weeds. This kind of assistant can keep you on track instead.

Have you written down the processes for your business, or at least made video walkthroughs of them, so they're easy to pick up? (Nearly all businesses have not.)

A VA make sense for:

• Any "must do" task that you can't technically perform yourself
• Any tasks that take you longer to accomplish than it takes your VA
• Any tasks that you don't like doing that a VA can do adequately
• Repetitive, daily execution chores that a VA can handle well
• Tasks that you know need to be done, but you procrastinate
• Tasks that cause you stress, anxiety, ulcers, or swearing

You are the business. You are what makes your Internet business unique. As a result, I would suggest you reserve for yourself any tasks that you do to make your brand outstanding, one-of-a-kind, and a reflection of your unique qualities.

It mostly depends on your need and how your day to day work looks like. I normally get 80% of routine work outsourced to VAs. The key is to understand whether outsourcing the work would result in decrease in quality produced. If some of the key things needs your presence - do that.

As suggested by other warriors, you can outsource routine tasks like social media management, outreach campaign running, graphics design, email communication, etc.

I will tell you from experience is not really advisable to have one VA do all your task except you run a very small business which I don't think Internet marketing is.

Ascertain all the task you need to complete to achieve success in your internet business and choose the critical ones only you can complete proficiently. The remaining tasks should be assigned to your VA but since one VA is not advisable for a business like yours you'll need some more VAs. The number depends on your pocket and number of tasks. I will advise you hire some on hourly some part-time and some by contract.

Managing a team of VAs might seem a little difficult but with team management software like Trello, everything should be easier. you can easily organise your team and disseminate Jobs to your team members and get alerts when is done or available for review.

I use a virtual assistant for my Bing marketing. I have already learnt how to get traffic using Bing so I can advise him exactly what to do. I think that you should use a virtual assistant for jobs that you have done and now can outsource because that way you know if they are doing a good job

I don't like to use virtual assistants but I've had excellent results over the years by hiring students (Business Admin majors) part time or as interns from local universities. I even have a full time general manager and office managers now who once worked for me as undergrads. Generally, junior or senior students especially are more seasoned, goal-oriented and reliable.

Writing articles, e-books and graphics as in banners, ecovers and sourcing for royality free images.

I have a tool that does it so I haven't done much outsourcing so far.

Managing Blog Publishing, Content / Blog Post Creation, Research & Creation of Facebook Posts, Landing Page Set-up/Creation, and so much more!

btw - I used to have a VA to do video and audio transcripts. But the tools are getting better. I found a tool called Otter.ai - drag and drop your video and the transcript shows up!

My boss hired me to do a task that he cannot do because he's too busy, I been working for him for 5 yrs, so far we have a good good relation as we have a systematic way to do task

My boss ask me to do the following:
1. i train new VA for him, I also do the interview and discuss everything
2. I do the editing, video and picture editing, I master DaVince because of my job
3. I manage social medias, websites
4. I check emails and do data entry as well

There are many task but I enjoy it so much, I am able to learn things little by little.

If you have a blog:

1) Check comment, delete spam, write comment's replies
2) Promote your posts in social networks, maybe teach him/her to use some tools for that
3) Perform research for your next articles ideas, look for images, videos

Marketing tasks:
1) Give her a template and instruct her how to look for prospects and send those emails (personalized, not spammy). Then tell her to create a spreadsheet with positive answers for you to follow up
2) Create brief reports on the competition
3) Create a Google alarm with your brand name / topic and she needs to select the most important stories and send them to you

My 2 cents

Hyy, you can outsource any work, few suggestions may -

1) Replies to the queries of readers or reply to comment.
2) Editing and posting your content.
3) Research what the readers want to read.
4) Ask for raw information for the any blog topic you are working on.
5) Email replies.

You can try anything with the surety of lighten your work burden...

I have taken these 3 questions from a old blog post that I don't remember, but I think it is worthy:

I have them in my task list app, workflowy at top, and I consider them every single day!

1. What are my highest value activities?
2. What can I and only I do that if done well will make a real difference?
3. What is the most valuable use of my time right now?

These three questions have helped me to get organized and delegate tasks that other people can do for me.

   I know you do advertising a lot! So why not hire a VA to manage your ad campaigns?
