I made $1.87 with Adsense! I'm so motivated!

Hello fellow warriors,
I am not a frequent poster, but i would like to share how i just realized that i was making money with adsense and did not even realize it.

I bought XFactors adsense course about 2 weeks ago and started implementing his strategies last week on a new domain. ANyhow, i already had a website up on the weight loss niche. I've had this site up for a long time but barely put up adsense several months back.

I never knew proper keyword research and how tough the weight loss niche was. So needless to say all of my content on my weight loss niche is not properly optimized for keyword rank. In fact my site is horrible on the search engines.

O.k. so for some reason i got curious as to how much my site was worth so i went to this site that pretty much tells you how much your site is worth. I first started putting in sites like youtube and other. And saw that their worth was something like in the millions and their add revenue was something like $800,000 a day. So i decided to plug in my own website into the search box and to my surprise my websites estimated worth is around $300. Then i noticed that it said that my daily ad revenue was .49 cents.

I was like, what! Every time i check my earning it says 0$. Well i didnt realize that i was checking earnings for "today", so i checked earnings for "all time" and to my surprise i have made $1.87. It's not much, but considering that my site sucks and the only marketing i did was articles This is a huge motivator!

Now that i bought xfactors adsense course i have a more clear understanding about keyword research. Sadly to say, even though i have made $1.87 on my website niche, i will not focus on it because it is extremely competitive. I will focus now on other low competions long tail keywords for other websites.

Well there you go guys, i am officially a believer in internet marketing. Now with the XFactors adsense course i hope to achieve more success.

There's nothing quite like that first dollar you make online to flip that switch in your head and really believe that it's possible. Good luck in your journey!

Hello guys and thanks for the encouraging words! Guess what, i did a little bit of more research on my weight loss niche site and just found out that I am #16 in google with my main keyword in quotes. Without quotes i'm #40. I'm surprised though because my competition is well over a Million. An i only did about 12 ezine articles for this website. oh yeah and my keyword monthly search is about 8000.

I do have a question though, how is it that i am #16 i google with quotes but # 50some in yahoo with quotes? I don't get it.

Google and Yahoo are different companies with different algorithms.

But be glad that you got better in rankings with Google cos that's where majority of your sales traffic will come from ^^

Thanks Kenji Tay! I have another question, for anybody not just Kenji Tay.
My domain for this website has the main keyword in it. My 12 ezine articles have the url in the resource box but does not have the anchor text of the domain name on the second link. If i change the anchor text on the second link to match my main keyword would this help my ranking? I'm talking about redoing my article resource box for my existing articles.

    Thanks guys.

Anchor text is always beter than the URL...

Long term strategy wise.. if your article is picked up by other webmaster , publishers.. yes, its going to help in your rankings.

1.88 percent is pretty good for AdSense. 210 visitors to your site every day or over how long? Your keywords must not be searched very often. Add more articles to your site on the same theme. Your traffic will grow and so will your earnings. Leave your ads where they are if you're getting 1.88 percent CTR. Noodle with it a little bit, but if you can get up to 500 visitors a day with that kind of CTR, you'll be making a little money off that site. Then you can move on to the next site or continue to build that one.

AdSense is a slow burn, but it's nice and steady and easy after a while.
