Podcast QUESTION

I became a bit interested in starting a podcast: primarly as a source for lead generation.

Did anyone here have it? Which process did you take? What are the steps?

    Record audio, upload to a host like Libsyn, choose what services Libsyn posts to, sign up for things it tells you to sign up for like a podcasting account for iTunes (blanking in the name right now), and publish your content and watch it pop up everywhere.

    Of course, creating a podcast is one thing. Getting listeners is another. My 2 podcasts are in a very specific niche that I'm personally in myself and I spread it though forums, Facebook groups, friends, etc.

    I have a podcast hosted with Libsyn but you can use Anchor (which does almost everything for free) to test the waters and see if it's something you enjoy.

    I also have one - really are a great way to bring in traffic and engage with your audience so good choice in terms of action steps.

    I record my podcasts a few times a week right into Audacity, use Skype apps to record guest spots and then upload them to Amazon S3 and use Powerpress Plugin from Blubrry to syndicate (after setting up accounts with Apple as well as other podcasting directories)
