Just as the title of this thread says...

Is it worth getting affiliates to promote your private labels resell rights product?

I say this because why would an affiliate want to promote something for 50% commission when they can buy the rights themselves and sell it to get 100%. Am i missing something here?

That is true, you probably wouldn't get many affiliates, but if you can, than you might as well.

If it's a membership site offering monthly plr products to members, then you can get a lot of affiliates.

Just an idea off the top of my head.

Why not sell several PLR products on your sales page and make your upsell, as already suggested by Andi, a bumper PLR / MRR membership site offering a recurring monthly income for your affiliates - not forgetting you too!

There's a lot of PLR Membership sites out there already, but there's a huge, huge demand for PLR products so I'm sure there's space for at least one more.

    Just an idea.

    Garry.

    Hey Andy,

That's a really good suggestion, I'll need to look into membership sites in a little more detail.

I don't doubt that you could get plenty of affiliates, as long as the commission was high enough and your sales letter converted well.

Another good point. Well my plan would be to offer $97.50 per sale to the affiliate for every licence they sold. I guess I'm just trying to get a feel to see if it would be viable to go down this route.

Even that you will still have affiliates to promote the PLR products... but if they really see how they can profit form the PLR they will buy it and convert in a money machine

You could get affiliates to promote the product itself and as a OTO offer private label rights.

75-100% on the front product (personal rights) $7.00
      50% on the PLR. $17-27.00

I think that would be easier to get affiliates for.

      Hope you get huge results.

        Hey Simon,

The idea was to sell the product as a licence so that others could have a turnkey business. If I cannot promote with affiliates does anyone else have any other methods they could suggest?

It's simple really....I once had one of the hottest selling ebooks online in 2006
I made a ton of money. I own the rights, I wrote the e-book.
And I never gave out resale rights.

What happen is I was making so much money people wanted to make even 1/3 % of what I was making...the reason why is simple I was making a ton of money, and no competition......I had hundreds of people contact me....but I never sold the rights. I sold thousands of ebooks...and..
    I kept the money.
In other words........people will help mine a gold mine for 1/3 of the cost......because they'd make a lot more than mining a silver mine for 100% of the cost.....think about it.

Your members are your affiliates in this case. PLR means you can pretty much do whatever you want with that product. Think about it you might get some good ideas Im not giving mine out just this moment though lol.
