Most articles you written in a day?

Hi Warriors,

I wrote 5 quality articles today and it might not be a lot for some of you, but for me it was quite a bit. How many articles do you guys/gals write per day? And the most you have written in a day?

Our own Steven W inspires me and a lot of YOU to keep plugging away at those articles, thanks Steven!

With a solid typing speed and having mastered the art of 'waffling' (instilled in me by my 10th grade geography teacher), I can write five 430-word articles per hour. I've only had one rejected by Ezinearticles due to not delivering on the title of the article. I'd write 250- to 300-word articles (EZA requires only 250...) and do 7 per hour, but I want my articles to go much further than EZA.

Rewriting is a much easier process and I can do that without thinking; it takes around five minutes a piece.

I do a keyword search and make a list of those that I can compete for .

I then take the list and add the projected daily traffic up.

When I get to 1000 projected a day ... that is how many articles I write that day .

It may take ten articles ( I try not to go over that) or it could take five .

Occasionally I will hit a nugget and only need one .

I put my article on my site Then submit to various directories .

Every one of these articles point to my site .

The next step write 5 articles with the same keyword and post them on other directories and point them to the original article on the directory that is ranking the best for me , for that kw, as well as my site

I then get back links in other ways .

The most first submit articles that I have written in a day is 10.

I have written as many as 20 + of the back link type articles in a day .

The most articles I wrote in one day was about 15, they were all 500 words and over. I'm happy if I can write 6 in a day and stoked if I can manage 10, it depends on how tired I am.

I do find however that when I'm writing consistently on a daily basis, I can comfortably manage 10 without too much trouble. I guess the more you write, the easier it gets.

The most I've written is 16 articles in a day (500 words each).

It was for a client who wanted them urgently done. Funny thing was, he didn't use them in one go. So I'm not sure why he wanted them urgently.

It killed me. I wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for the money.

Whoa! How many hours, did you manage to put into those 22 articles? How many words? Quality content? I managed to knock-out 2 more articles, so that brings up my total to 7.

I usually don't write much articles, most of my gains come via ppc... but for a new project I'll try, to knock-out close to 150-200 quality articles for the next 2 months. Those babies shall bring, good amounts of traffic for that one project and then the next one begins.

I think about six, but they only take me a little under ten minutes to write (250-300 words). I can type very fast and most of my articles repeat the same information over and over, so I just spit the same tips out in every article. It's mostly proofreading, thinking of a title, shimmying in my keywords, and creating the best resource box that take up the most time.

This argument has been on here many times: quantity vs quality... and any time the idea of "how many articles were written" is brought up, people start saying how less is more, when the articles are of great quality and all that lovely argumentative stuff.

I don't think then, that anyone really needs to compare their success to what other's measure their success by. Magic Mel, what I mean by this, is something that I was once told:

When you compare yourself to others, they become the measuring stick on which you measure your own excellency.

This means that your standards and goals are suddenly only as high as others. If you see that someone had written 50, you think "oh wow 50... that must be alot", wherein maybe you could do possible 70, all high quality as well, which completely beats the 50. You never know. Maybe 5 work for you, where in you can get all the same results that some people don't even see with 20 or even 10 articles.

But you most likely would not at the end of the day, when you see how many others are writing and see how successful they are, sometimes this is a huge turn off for people, where they find themselves swamped by competition and swamped by how great others are at it.

I sometimes look at what people do, and say ... man I could never do that! because the numbers and quantity seem so high, this may be with making money, writing, or creating things- whatever the case may be. It can even relate to quality, where I feel I could never write a book on a certain topic as good as someone else had.

But that's what happens when you compare yourself and what you are doing to what others do. most of the time we would never feel like beating those people at it, and we would never really be driven by that kind of competition, but rather would be made to feel even more down and more like a failure.

    In the end:
It all depends on what you want, and what you are trying to achieve. Presumably then, the only thing that matters, is how effectively you can write each article so that each can be a success and the rest can go out the window.

10 everyday, but my goal is weekly so I manage to write out around 100 - 120 articles a week. The most I managed was around 29 in a day, I remember sitting in front of the computer and typing typing typing typing .. like a maniac.

I really still hate that day apart from this achievement. I started outsourcing it and just doing the spinning part now.

It's not a matter of total articles I write. If a niche has 50 good keywords, I try to finish it up within a week @ 1 article per keyword.

The highest I've had per niche is 132 articles and I make around $100 - $150 a day with that niche alone. Frankly, just 12 articles are on the first page of google and a few convert well.

In total, I have around 15 separate accounts with around 300 articles in each.

I can't share my complete online income with you, but some niches make me 100 in a day while the rest make me 100 a week.

The best way is to choose highly targeted converting keywords instead of writing too many articles. Bum marketing is surviving with articles, but since I'm into VRE even if 10 articles rank well I'm good to sell the site.

      Hi CliveG

It usually doesn't follow that just because the person published 19,230 articles in 3+ years means that he averages writing 14 articles per day; he could be outsourcing some of the articles to freelance writers like what I am doing right now.

      cheers

I am currently doing 8 articles per day to retain quality of life; I was able to make 17 in a day but that was hell. I will not do it again even for money at the expense of my health.

I went on a crusade one day to reduce my article writing time to ten minutes, and wrote 54 articles that day. Never made it to ten minutes. Was completely slaughtered by the end of that day, and had to spend most of the next day editing them. None of them were up to my standards.

Dropped my maximal output to 20 a day tops, and usually I keep it under 15.

I wrote 6 a few days ago, and that was the most.

They are about 350 words each, so not too hard to write. I can actually write 1 350 word article on my niche in less than 8 minutes, so it's not a grueling process. I seem to be getting a lot of 60%+ CTRs from my recent ones because I changed my resource box. It really does make a difference.

I'm curious for all the other warriors here who are writing articles.... What kinds of results do you see? With 19 articles on my niche, I'm seeing about 50 visitors per day to my landing page, and no sales. I got lucky the other day when I made 2 sales.

Say I were to consistently write 8-10 articles per day, would results of at least 1 sale per day be seen? I just keep having trouble wrapping my head around writing articles by grinding them out and hoping to get sales.

I guess I need real stories of article marketers who are writing 10 articles a day, and what kind of income they get from their article marketing.

    Define "quality"

The most I've ever written in one day has been somewhere in the 30s. I spent the next day staring at the television set and sleeping so my brain would heal!

I try to do 10ish per day when I have a large load. But I try to spread that out among different clients so that none of my clients get articles that feel spun or unoriginal.

Yep. That. For answers to be useful, it's necessary to know if the person also has a full or part-time regular job, or has a full load of college modules etc.

I don't currently have a 'straight' job but I have other projects/time-hogs and couldn't devote f-t hours to personal writing projects (as opposed to article orders).

Of course this might be an approximation, but that's been miy impression from what he's said in some of his article marketing products. He also wrote in some of the same places that he used to write 10 articles a day as part of his business model, so he's prolific no matter which way you look at it.

As far as my own numbers go... I'm not sure. I have never actually counted, but I doubt that I have ever gotten beyond 10 in any single day. I tend to take a lot longer than 10 minutes per article. Most of my articles are individual ones, one per topic/subject, so I don't write about the same thing over and over again (for the most part anyway).

Also, I do write things other than articles too though... And I'm starting to experiment with new techniques recently that result in higher numbers.

I also write for myself as well as for my clients, but when I have a lot of articles to write for clients, my own seem to land on the backburner...

Is that even possible? 22 articles in a day. If you count 1h for eating and 1h for showering and stuff, that leaves you with 1 article per hour? For a decent 500 word article that's almost impossible. But apparently not?!

I just checked in on my EzineArticles account... the most
I've ever written in one day and submitted was 7 - which
    happened once.

Then 6 articles in one day happened quite a few.

A little shocking because right now, I can write a 300 word
article off the top of my head in less than 10 minutes. Seeing
that... I think I'm going to go on an article writing craze to
start marking it up and breaking my own 4 minute mile.

Why write articles when I can outsource that and free up my time for more streams of revenue?

Of course this might be an approximation, but that's been miy impression from what he's said in some of his article marketing products. He also wrote in some of the same places that he used to write 10 articles a day as part of his business model, so he's prolific no matter which way you look at it.
      Correction/Update to the above:

I checked and it looks like Sean Mize has combined the two versions of his name (with and without the middle initial) and is now listed just WITH the "R" -- at the very top of EZA's most published list

I wrote about 15 in one day but have since realized that it is not needed.

About 12 articles in one day for me, I didn't find it too tiring.. just sat down with LOTS of coffee for a few hours and wrote my little heart out.

    Paid off a great deal

I can write about 5 good articles. If I try for more, I get burned out or the quality deteriorates.

I've written 20 in a day, but then again, I once wrote 2 fairly
lengthy ebooks in a day. When I get in the zone, it just flows
    and requires very little effort.

I generally do my keyword research for the topic/niche I'm
going to write on and then let the most popular keyword
phrases suggest titles. It's usually a keyword phrase combined
    with a promised benefit.

I don't normally write more than 2-3 articles at a time
these days because it's not the best use of my time, and
I already have over 1500 articles floating around cyberspace

I heard Some Marketers say you should write at least 10 articles a day. I have no clue how I can pull that off. The most I can write is 3 to 5. This it.

Lets say, you can only write 3-5 then I would try to outsource another 3-5 a day... If money is an issue with outsourcing Id save up for some kind of article spinner/rewriter and submit your original three to five articles to your site/blog and spin a variation of them and get those out to article directories.
