Ezine Articles view Counter Reset To ZERO! Yikes!

Anyone know what might be going on? My main account page still says I have 14,000 article views but when I go to "view my article reports" the views of every article now show as zero... O.o

The url click number is still intact so I'm very confused as to what's going on... I sent Ezine an e-mail so maybe I'll have a more definitive answer in the next couple days but was just wondering if any warriors had experienced this.

(oh and my articles appear to all be published, if I find them in google's search results the links take me right to the article so I think I'm all ok there)

It normally happens when they update their systems. It should go back to normal within a few hours. Same thing happend to me and I freaked! All is well now

    Yup,

    Strange I'm getting that too.

Everything is fine except for the article views, curious.

I have a grand total of "0" article views.

Hopefully this is an oversight on their part and their working on it.

I had that too, my counter reset - it's now up to around 120 again. Clicking the actual stats shows the full, correct ones.

Same here, but a refresh brings back the correct view number

Somethings afoot at the circle K.

But really, somethings not right. I haven't gotten 1 URL clickthrough from my 40 articles yet today, and I have never seen that happen....ever. I checked one article and the link seems to be fine.....but still, something is not right.

I had over 40 hops this time yesterday, today I have none. I know CB hops can be unpredictable and random, but this is outside of that randomness.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

My views and url clicks counters seem to be stuck now  I usually get views every hour, but unless I'm mistaken, they have stayed the same since last night. Bizarre. I'm sure they'll fix it soon though

Does it really matter? If you know you'v had 14,000 page views in the past, no one can take them away from you. It won't affect your rankings just because your counter says 0!

I'm probably looking at my stats to much too. First page shows no "article views" - I mean the link is completely gone. Do a refresh and the link may or may not be there. When it's back i get 0's all the way down on my articles list.
The other thing that's bizarre is when I click through to one of my articles and I click on an article in the most viewed in the last 90 days section that article shows only 1 viewed. Scary.
Kind of like my web host provider when the stats go wonky and never come back right. I've lost stats completely for whole months with them.

EZA stats for clickthrus are different than say Google analytics. You're better off getting "paid for" software like statcounter for your landing page that will give you a more accurate rate.

I generally focus on my clickthrus instead of article views. Some of my articles have a clickthru rate of around 80% with modest views where my articles with lots of views are around 30%.

With that in mind I changed strategy and started promoting and building backlinks to my articles with best clickthru rate. Opt-ins are up and it seems to be working!
