PPV CANNOT POP ON PRODUCT NAMES, MCDONALDS, KFC NAME, OR ANY VARIATIONS.

Hi All,
Long time Lurker and first time poster to this wonderful forum.
I am looking at my first offers to start promoting and i have come across this clause in a few of them.
"PPV CANNOT POP ON PRODUCT NAMES, MCDONALDS, MACCAS NAME, OR ANY VARIATIONS."

Can someone tell me what this means?

Does this mean if im doing google or bing ads, that i cant use any associated words that Mcdonalds uses in any of their ads? Or any form of it? That i have to suggest that the offer refers to a Burger or Food company and not say its for Mcdonalds?

Any help is really appreciated. Thanks

Well, it sounds like you are looking at a mcdonalds gift card offer and they are warning that you can't bid on those keywords on the pay per view networks.

keyword restrictions are common on trademarked terms in the affiliate marketing arenas.
