Is it ok to sign up with brand name in forum? I mean is it good for seo? what will be good method?

    Each forum had its terms and conditions and if you are following and making account with the brand name then no forum will delete your business account. Yes it is also good start for SEO

    No there is not any issue to sign up in forum as a brand name. Some forums dont allow brand logo as profile picture. You have to remember that you can't add your website link in forum post. Mostly there is a rule in forums that you can add your link after completed 20 forums post.

    Do you want to use a forum to get SEO juice? Or do you want to bond with humans in transparent fashion?

    I answered this question mindfully because I saw a human named Rahul answered it. But if I saw a brand name and brand logo, or even your human selfie shot for an avatar, I lose the connection.

    Be human on forums. You'll get even more SEO juice by being genuine and transparent.

    This forum is for humans to discuss Internet marketing. When I see a thread or post that I would like to respond to, it's nice to see the name and face of the person I'm going to address.


    IMO, the user name is not that critical for SEO purposes.


    You can always put your business name and brand information in the signature box. You can even take that one step further and pay to have an image (like your logo or other visual branding) in the sig box with a link to your business web site.


    Just my personal preference - use your real name and pic as your forum name, and promote your brand in the sig file.

    why not would be good if you create such user names must contain similarity of having keyword whichever you are doing branding for.

      do it wisely concentrate on keywords.

      branding is different which can be implemented on such platforms like quora,linkdin and many more.

    It totally depends on Forums Guidelines.

    But i suggested you don't use your brand name in forum but use your real identity because it shows the real user and Brand name indicate for Promotion
