  • You need to lower the price and get more good reviews. After that, you can slowly increase the price.

Have you ever considered that the OP may have the lowest prices on Fiverr for this type of service, already and pricing has absolutely nothing to do with fixing his problem?

You have to make sure that your order looks very appealing to the customer. If your gigs are for example in the video editing or in the graphic design business, where there is a lot of competition, you HAVE to stand out. Also, now that you're just starting out, you have to offer MORE value for less. For example, offer more features in your gig than the rest of the competition for less money. If you're still not getting customers, then go to the Buyer Requests page, where customers post custom requests. Lastly, if you're still not finding customers, go to unsatisfied customers from other sellers' gigs.

Ha, i am a seller on Fiverr also. I keep asking the same question... but the answer is simple !

You should promote yourself on social media and everywhere, but most important thing on Fiverr is to BEG your customers for good reviews! I am not that kind of person, that is why i do not have succes on Fiverr...

Keep in mind that Fiverr attracts the lowest common denominator of customers. Given the opportunity, they will attempt to nickel and dime you right out of business.

GIVE NOTHNG AWAY FOR FREE. Are you a business or a charity? Charge fairly for your product, deliver quality commensurate with your product or service and encourage people to go elsewhere if they won't show you the respect that you should at least have for yourself. Once you cave, the word will spread quickly and you will garner the worst customers and they will give you bad feedback if you do not submit to their every request.

If you don't believe me - read their community forums. Bring popcorn.

The only people who work for free are people that produce nothing of value and they are being paid precisely what they are worth. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

Continually scan the "wanted" section . . . as soon as you find a request you can fulfil, make a custom Gig using their wording, and send it to them, as quick as you can.

Do that and you will almost certainly get work within a few hours . . . keep doing it until you have some good feedback, that helps you get more work.

Promot, promote, promote. Fiverr will only give you so much work without you doing your part. I would be promoting those gigs all over Twitter, Facebook and other social platforms several times a day, especially on Twitter.

It's also necessary to find other ways to drive traffic to your gigs. Until you have several good reviews, you won't get much regular traffic just from putting gigs on Fiverr.

    1. Get some testimonials from previous clients
    2. Showcase your work on your job posting
    3. Create a few videos about yourself and what you offer people and post on your job posting
    4. Make sure your profile is updated with all the information
    5. Promote your listings on FIVERR (paid)

Once that is done, focus all of your time and effort on marketing. Put some ads on Craigslist. Do a couple guest posts on blogs. Post a few videos. Have all of these link back to your FIVERR gig.

That is what I would do.

Create 4 to 5 gigs and promote them on social media plateform. Plus go with buyer request option too.

You need to provide great reviews and provide outstanding examples of your work. If you are lucky you will stumble into a client that wants to work longer term with you and sees your value so you can increase your rates and work independently.

You need to offer a ton of free extras bundled together for the $5 gig. Offer unlimited Revisions, 100% Satisfaction guarantee. Make sure to create a very impressive portfolio of examples to attract customers. Be sure to collect 5* reviews from every single customer.

Seriously? Your making LESS than $5 after Fiverr gets their cut and you're telling people to "give stuff away" and to "offer unlimited revisions."

    By hustling.

Fiverr is hard. There are so many people on the site offering various skills, that's its going to take a lot for you to get in front of your target customer.

Setup your gig. Take as much time as possible to make your gig great. After doing that take you link for your gig and promote everywhere.

Find where the people you want to market to are and sell to them. Don't depend on Fiverr to promote you gig. Waiting on Fiverr means you'll be waiting a long time before you get an order.

Find Facebook groups in your niche and start sharing value in those groups. Keep at it and you should get orders over time.

Think about this if your post your gig in 2000 places per day don't you think you would get at least one order per day?

It's about hustle. Put your head down and hustle.

It is really, really hard to get traffic to your gig organically from fiverr itself. You need to focus bringing traffic from ot her sites (facebook groups, forums etc.)

I have sold over 660 gigs on fiver. First of all you need to find what is selling and how it is being sold. So look at what you are selling and do a search. If some one else is selling the same item and is selling a lot more then you find out how his page looks. The give another bonus for your sale. Keep selling the same item so people will soon know what you are selling. do not jump around. Another trick is in your advert also say other goods you have. Like I also have over 100 videos just ask me for the list. works very well for me. hope it helps.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[11427671].message }}
    • True, basically you're saying do some market research. See what the others are doing, compare to yourself and try to do it better.

The bonuses is a nice trick as long as it's not cutting into your profits, too much, as we all want to make a living and not just peanuts.

You need to find other ways to promote other than Fiverr. Plus you need to try and leverage every customer you do manage to get. If possible try to get work outside of that platform from some of the customers you manage to get.
