Why Google Is showing old cache result in SERP?

Hello Everyone,

I am working for a ORM Website. There is a website which has negative content related to the website. Now that website hosting is expired and that url is not working but still google is showing the negative result with old cache 22 July. What should i do to remove it from google?

If you don't own the site, there is nothing you can do to remove it. Google will catch on eventually.

If you do own it, you can request that a URL be removed from the index inside of Google's Search Console.

If you want to remove it from Google, make sure you disavow the links and for this for you should have an access to do it.
