Hi guys,

I do have a question for you though it might seem offensive and I do apologize in advance if any of you feel that way.

If you lose everything and have to rebuild your online business, what will be your battle plan to recovery?

You have no email lists, no JV partners or affiliates.

And all your IM friends left u as they no longer see you as value to their agenda.

Instead you only have your IM knowledge, support from spouse and close friends in non-IM niche and just $1000 in your bank account.

And you have exactly 30 Days to make another $1000 and more.

What will be your strategy besides getting a job which I am sure most of you will say in self-reaction?

Though Russell Brunson has a program on this now, I still like to hear from you guys

Hey, though i'm new here but i think the best think one should look out for is a coach to help him start from the scratch, or maybe look for the loop holes and try to fix things the way they should be

Right - one who will ask for $1000 to get started. You can't make this stuff up.

But how are you going to raise funds to hire a coach?

The way I see, there are 2 ways.

      1. Get a job and salary after 30 days,

      2. Borrow from family and friends with the promise you will pay them back gradually after you make money.

(Tea break post, so this will be shorter than usual.)

    (Good thread, though, mate.)

    This is what I'd do:

    1. Spend $10 on hosting.

    2. Spend $60 on Avada Wordpress Theme.

    3. Spend $930 on Smirnoff vodka.

    4. Grab a camera.

    5. Grab an iPad.

    6. Post images on Instagram.

    7. Post videos on Instagram.

    8. Automate with Hootsuite.

    9. Focus on free affiliate offers.

I'd also send rude emails to any friends that dropped me.

Just to really ruin their day, I might even send pictures of my buttocks.

OK. "Cosplay." I have been alive a very long time, am fairly well read and although I only possess a GED, I have worked long and hard to develop a strong vocabulary. I have never encountered the word, "cosplay" in my entire life. Never in conversation with anyone and in nothing I have ever read. If I had, I would have looked it up, like I just did.

I wrote a friend of mine in Ireland, who is a transplanted Brit, with whom I have weekly Skype calls and one of the things we love to talk about are words, their derivation and their common usage. Much to my surprise, since I was going to assume it was rooted in old English, he had never heard it before, either. He thanked me for maintaining my effort to turn him on to new words, with "new" being the operative word since it's common usage didn't take place until 1990. So, so interesting. :-)

With all of that being said, I regret to inform you that I have no interest in your dog costume. I lean more toward a strong attraction to French maid costumes and I'm not sure how good you'd look in that get-up.

For now, please delete me from your list as, "these emails no longer apply to me."

          Cheers.

I love to turn you on, F.

            To new words.

On a less perverse note (if we must), I've found another reason to like you (don't worry - there are still far more reasons to dislike you).

Reason being: words, the love of them.

The fact that two chaps enjoy chatting about words somewhat restores my faith in humanity. (I think it's great that you do that.) And then I see a banner on WF . . . And all your hard work is undone.

            Amuro:

Powered by morning vodka and cigarettes, I'll be throwing some more useless ideas your way.

            Prepare to be awestruck.

            Smirnoff-Inspired Idea #2.

            1. Give $980.05 to charity.

            2. Write an online marketing e-book.

            3. Spend $19.95 to purchase WSO listing.

            4. Run sales through PayHip.

            5. Drives sales:

            - WSO
            - WF
            - Affiliates

            6. Reinvest some profits.

            - YouTube Ads.
            - Facebook Ads.

            7. Reinvest more profits:

            - Smirnoff.

            Spend $219.95 in all.

            Target: $1,219.95.

(With $219.95 being ad and Smirnoff spend.)

            $1,219.95 / $20 means I would have to sell 61 books in 30 days.

            Smirnoff-Inspired Idea #3.

            1. Spend $100 on a French maid costume.

            2. Spend $900 on raw materials.

            3. Create products.

            4. Sell on Facebook Marketplace.

            5. Use mail order for delivery.

            Smirnoff-Inspired Idea #4.

            1. Spend $70 to create a snazzy website.

            2. Sell marketing to local business.

            3. Sell web development too.

            4. Branch out to WF newbie audience.

            Smirnoff-Inspired Idea #5.

            1. Select a niche.

            2. Snazzy website for $70.

            3. Setup and brand a Facebook page.

            4. Make silly videos (infuse with virality).

            5. Caption them.

            6. Get friends to share posts.

            7. Share them myself to Facebook groups.

            8. Get friends to like Page.

            9. Get then to encourage their friends.

            10. Setup competition (to encourage Likes).

            11. Boost my videos that have engagement spikes.

            12. Feed Page with monetized blog posts.

            Time for work!

            Amuro, good thread.

In my experience of such threads, we won't find marketers willing to part with anything all that valuable, but you can often get inspired or read between the lines, and with the odd tweak, solid business models can be derived.

If you have made it online before then you to start all over again doing what you know how to do best. Anything you don't know how to do can't translate into another $1,000 in 30 days. That's not feasible.

The best place you may want to look at right now is the offline and probably getting a job.
Only get back online if you have something to fall back on.

Truth is, nothing much have changed from where you left it.

    1. Find a niche, market or product.
    2. Build a site and wrap your keywords around it.
    3. Integrate an opt in.
    4. Send traffic to your site.

Having had to build my business back up online after getting frustrated and selling -- I would find a place where I could help as much as possible.

    I would:
    • Pick a niche, get a domain and build a website ($.99 - $15)
    • Get hosting (Low as $5)
    • Write helpful blog posts ($0)
    • Get involved with a good community ($0 cost - $1,000s)
    • Learn 1-3 sources of traffic (SEO, social media, article marketing, whatever) ($0)
    • Continue to build out the site as needed

How I would start again is simple Find a problem that people have then find the solution to solve that problem put the solution in front of the people. I would join facebook have a page in the name of the solving problem. Example if the answer to the problem was. ABC I would name the page ABC. I would then find every one who has that problem and post to the pages evert day. That is after I have put 15 to 20 posts to men ABC page before hand. Then with the link at the top of the page I will generate traffic . I would also go to forums and twitter. and do as many posts as it takes to get noticed. That is how I would start all over again. hope it helps

Ok so looking at a real example but in the physical world I'd emulate something like the door security peep hole method.

There was a time when there were no peep holes to see who was knocking on your door.

Then a device that allowed someone on the inside of the door to see who was knocking on the outside was invented.

Next pick a group of highly concentrated apartments where there are a large percentage of doors without the "door viewer"

Then invest in drill and drill bit that makes hole for said "door viewer and buy a few "door viewers"

Start knocking on doors that don't have "door viewers" - best time when people are home

Sell the idea they need the viewer....

    you know...

    terrorists at the door...

    ...girl guides...

    ...etc.

    Make offer.

    Get Paid.

    Drill hole.

    Install Viewer.

Replicate with a bunch of people who can follow a script and instructions and soon you have big business.

Another "true" example that turned into big business but many may have copied.

Broke immigrant due for deportation bought 12 Roses.

That night went to various "alfresco" restaurants and offered a SINGLE rose to any couple dining together.

At the time (late 1980's) paid $12 for the dozen roses.

Sold every rose for $5 each.

Within a few months had a complete business running with other people selling roses.

Expanded to selling photographs with couples with rose.

Grew exponentially over 18 months and sold business.

These are not businesses I've sold but were sold by people I've known and in each case they were simple and grew fast.

If I lost everything and I had a spare $1K then I'd buy something I knew with absolute certainty that could be sold quickly to someone else who needed what ever it was.

For example from my "old" offline industry.

Picture hooks or devices to hang pictures (hung signs, hang anything)

I'd buy bulk a quantity of something that people only needed a "FEW" of.

Sell smaller quantities of the things people need a "few" of.

Thing is. . . . sell them a few more than they actually need and also encourage them to buy more because they may need them later or they might know some other people they can give them to etc. . . etc.

Online it is easier because you can simply put up a sales page with an order form and it isn't that hard to do the whole thing on the cheap and then pay for a bit of traffic.

Pick a high margin product with proven demand and make an irresistible offer.

    Don't complicate things.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

Just looking at this thread from a different perspective . . .

IMO, too many people "start over from scratch" waaaay too often. They quit before they really give their niche and their business a fighting chance.

They become enamored with the trendy new business techniques and shiny objects and abandon their original plans because there is greener grass just over the next hill.

"Starting over" in IM seems to me to be an epidemic. I say: fix what's wrong with your current business and give it a real chance.

Some IMers do nothing but "start over" time and time again and never really operate a solid business for even six months!

Sell 100 of them for 10 bux each. Use WF sig file, link to a pdf posted at Dropbox.

You write your story of why you lost everything and why "they" abandon you, and the lesson you learned from it. Use Open Office (FREE) export as a pdf. Use a PayPal button (FREE). Write the promotion the same way.

Maybe a day to dictate or write the report, on how you screwed up so bigly. Could even hire a Warrior to write the promotion.

You need to sell 4 a day for 25 days, and you get your 1,000.00 bux...and have only spent a fraction of the 1k you started with.

Maybe, allow 500 for one of those super great copywriters in the WF for hire section, to insure you will get sales.

Then post at least 10 times a day here in all the sub-forums, until your signature has been seen and hit.

I would be inclined to stare at the 1k in the bank account, and carry on a conversation with it.

ME: "Hi money in the bank. I would like you to go to work for me, and make me one thousand dollars in the next 30 days."

    MONEY: "Doing what?"

ME: "Well, I know a lot about IM, or really about FAILING at IM, so maybe that could be used."

MONEY: "Well there is a market for bad experiences. Maybe you can help others from being as stupid as you were, ya think?"

ME: "My failure and the reason everyone chose to abandon me, really wasn't my fault, it was more about Google, algorithms, and poor associations."

MONEY: "Sure it was. But, back to my question, what do you expect me to do for you?"

ME: "I want to invest you in something which is going to give me a very quick return, some much needed cash flow, and at the end of 30 days, give me ONE thousand dollars."

MONEY: "You want an ADDITIONAL thou, right, are you willing to spend some money to make some money, is that what you want from me? Why not just leave me sit, and in 30 days, you'll still have 1000 in your bank account? Why take the risk?"

ME: "No, I want to rebuild a BUSINESS, where money comes to me steadily, you are just the seed capital for my next venture."

MONEY: "Oh. OK. You will need SOMETHING TO SELL, either goods or services. You will need SOMEONE to buy what you have to offer. You need a way to take their money, and a way to deliver your goods or services, so what is YOUR PLAN? I'm here when you need me, but don't you think you should have a rock solid plan of action?"

ME: "Well my plan is to make you do the work. I can sell someone else stuff, as an affiliate, and I guess, maybe I could use someone's list and do a joint venture?"

MONEY: "NO you can't there is a reason why those people don't want anything to do with you. You're living in a fantasy world. Why not wise up, wake up and leave me alone, until you know what to do. If you must get another 1000 bux in 30 days, sell your TV, computer, some furniture or your car. Or leave the house and peddle some merch door to door or business to business. Show me you can DO."

ME: "Oh, I know I can do it, I did it before, and now I have the rock solid advice and great ideas of the Warrior Forum to help me out. What could possibly go wrong?"

MONEY shakes his head and sighs. Looks longingly at a Back Page MASSEUSE.

I'd start the way I started 10 years ago by freelance writing. I only need $1,000 in 30 days which is nothing. That could come from one client pretty easily as a freelance writer.

Once I had the $1K, I would use what I could to build my own blog and website again around a niche I am passionate about.

The key here is I didn't lose my knowledge and the methods I already know work.

I would go to garage sales, buy cheap items based on three criteria, supply, demand & quality (in other words don't buy crap where nobody wants it, or where it is plentiful so you need to haggle down on dollars or is poor condition) then take it home restore, clean, split / bunch, then take some good photos and then using my internet prowess "and in keeping with make money online theme", list these up on my local classifieds site for free, using words of wonder and amazement laced with lolly pops and excitement and it would be very possible to double or more down on your money in that time.

Russell brunson is a copywriter and product creator. He knows his audience well; knows hiw much they are likely to spend based on the data he has accumulated over the years. He doesn't want anything to do with people who have barely 100 dollars to their name because you can't start online business with that money. I do agree thst its a great hook and he just about sold you..

I would get into E-commerce particularly Arbitrage online and off line. Scan/Research clearance deals for maximum profit gains. Buy low sell high on Ebay, Amazon, Craigslist, Mercari, Backpage, Let Go and Offer Up. Snowball your earnings and continue to grow your business.

I'll keep staying in my specialty: freelancing my graphic and video skill. But this time I'll use the money wisely (just little part of $1,000 left) to promote my service more often rather than buying software and stuff and learning new tricks. I haven't see more tricks these days, but always the old one in a new wrapper. All I need is a good collaboration with a voice over talent and a native English writer.
