Assuming that the products are great and the company is legit etc....

Is it LinkedIn, a tradicional Funnel, FB ads, Google Ads ????????

WHat way you would go in this case to get hold on a large amount of people interested to know you pitch?

I seldom do any paid advertising. What I've been doing for the last 20* with my MLM company is to write articles for niche-relevant online/offline publications, blogs, forums, etc with a call to action in the resource box or sig file. My downline is trained to do the same, and is also getting some highly convertible traffic from right here on this forum.

I also love content marketing. Blog posts, YouTube videos, forum comments, podcasting, etc. And whatever you do, don't forget a catchy email signature.

Depending on the company, maybe Facebook or Bing. I wouldn't use Google for this.

    1. Postcards are working great
    2. Bing PPC
    3. YouTube videos
    4. Drop cards

    I hope that helps.

I would not recommend any of these types of MLM sites because they are generally overhyped and overpriced marketing gimmicks. Their main focus is selling "quick and easy" products/services to star-struck MLM wannabees.

I did some quick research on the sites listed and absolutely agree. They are blatant "newbie-traps."

Since MLM's typically are B2C, I wouldn't invest time into Linkedin. The frame of mind for users on that platform is definitely B2B.

There are MLM groups on Linkedin, and business professionals are often open to diversifying their income as well as the extremely favorable tax advantages of this business model.

If you're not including this and other social media platforms in your network marketing strategy (ie Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, forums, etc), you are missing out on some very powerful lead sources.

It is not using any of those channels/sites.

It is you as an MLMer:

    - learning the in's and out's from your upline
    - teaching people with free, helpful content thru your blog and video
    - building friendships with top MLMers

Attraction marketing works best in MLM industry.

You will need to find targeted audiences. Find out their problems and provide the solutions. Once they know you send them value, they will like and trust you. And they will work with you in any business.

Make sure to utilize YouTube by creating great videos, Help people by answering questions related to your niche on Yahoo Answers and Quora. Be sure to post on all Forums, and Free Classifieds like Craigslist and Back page. Participate on Reddit. You can also do Blog Commenting for traffic as well. Creating great content like Infographics is also a great way to get traffic.

I've seen lots of people do very well building a Facebook following and using that following to promote their MLM opportunity, but this isn't for everyone and takes a lot of work.

While I am currently 'on-the-fence' with a growing supplement company, I stumbled upon a gentleman named; Eric Worre who offers a signed copy of his his book; "Go Pro" with a $1 trial to his; "Go Pro Academy" membership.

He seems legit when it comes to recruiting both customers and new distributors into nearly ANY MLM based business platform.

The catch is; once you've signed up for the $1 Trial and FREE "Go Pro" book... you will be billed $49 per month for his extensive training programs inside the; "Go Pro Academy" which last I checked houses around 21 different courses.

Honestly, I didn't care much for his character at first, but having explored 3 of his courses, the guy is a highly respected supporter/promoter of Network Marketing... if nothing less, I highly recommend his $1 trial... even if only to watch his "Getting Started" documentary and getting the FREE signed copy of his book; "Go Pro" - and then you can choose to cancel your membership within 30 days! (*I believe cancellation is available by phone only!)

As far as using paid traffic... I guess that all depends on how brilliant your sales copy (sales funnel) is set up... and of course; your allocated ad budget to attracting the right candidates into the fold???

I would focus more on free resources, such as; social media, video and written publications though, as throwing money at ads could be costly with no way of truly knowing the real value of a new member signing up! (*The company I am exploring offers free membership and promo materials, so I haven't spent a dime as of yet!)

You could always build email lists via a weekly/monthly newsletter series and recruit from within your subscribed readers, which was one option I've ben considering.

    Good-Luck!!!

The bottom line is to have a strong online presence to generate leads, coupled with a followup system that gets these leads offline as quickly as possible. Particularly in MLM, prospects initially search online, but they are looking for a LEADER to follow.

It's a business where people Google everything. You must become visible and easy to find. People must know you, like you, and trust you before they will accept your opportunity. Ultimately, however, real relationships nurtured offline is the key to building a solid, thriving MLM business.

I call this "AUTHORITY MARKETING", (the BIG brother of "attraction marketing"). It is essential to become an authority within your sphere of influence. This doesn't mean you have to show a $50,000 a month check. Discover your strengths and develop your business around them.

If you are a beginner starting from scratch, focus on something that's simple at first. Make it work and then "leverage it" to recruit others. Rinse and repeat this process until you grow bigger and bigger.
