Happy Thanksgiving! (2018)

No, this isn't a typo. Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm sure those outside of CANADA might be confused. That's because today is Thanksgiving in Canada.

I'm well aware that the US thanksgiving is weeks away but I'm just trying to drive a point home. When you are promoting outside of your area, you need to know the differences.

If I were to promote a thanksgiving offer outside of Canada this weekend, I'm sure it wouldn't do well.

There are other subtle differences to be aware of as well, such as temperature (Celsius and Fahrenheit). Or even think about currency, yes both Canada and US use dollars (along with many other countries) but there are many other forms of currency (pounds, pesos, etc)

I'm not trying to name off everything. Just want to remind people to research and get a general understanding of your audience when promoting to them.

Have a great day!!
