RAP - Install and download protection?

Ok I am not afraid to admit it. I bought RAP and just bought a domain and need to install it and setup my downloads, etc.

Anyone care to help or show me a user friendly guide?

      I, personally, think the User Guide that you received as a part of the download, is all you need. But then, I guess I'm a propeller head...

      There is also great help available at the user forum.

      If you think you need more...
      the suggestions above are "right on".

      Frank's (Donovan) resource suggestions are good, and (FWIW) when anyone comes to the Help Desk and asks me for a recommendation for installation services, John is always my first choice!

    Hi Tim,

    I agree the original file that comes with the package
    is very detailed and will get you buy.

    I actually made up my own quick start guide that
    is just what I need to do to install the script and
    not have to wade through all that other stuff.

    Here it is.

    ===================================

    RAP Install Guide

    1. Upload Script, config.php 777

    2. Upload the file to the download folder

    3. Create Database (Inside your Hosting Cpanel)

    4. http://www.domain.com/rap_admin/install.php

    5. DELETE rap_admin/install.php

    6. rap_admin/config.php to 644

    7. Login to http://www.domain.com/rap_admin/

    8. Add New Product

    9. Sell the **** out of it

    10. Get drunk and fall over.

    11. Repeat steps 1 - 10 on a new site.
