But what I think you're looking for is a free traffic method, not source.

What do I mean?

Well . . .

Reddit,

Google,

YouTube,

Snapchat,

Instagram,

Twitter,

Facebook,

Yahoo,

Quora,

Blogs,

Forums,

Dead Domains,

Your email list,

Word of mouth,

Digg,

SlideShare,

Kindle books,

iTunes,

Vimeo,

Flickr,

Etc., Etc. . . .

Those - and hundreds of others - are all free sources of traffic.

But I think you want a method.

A means, in other words, of tapping INTO one or more sources of targeted traffic.

I'm a traffic junkie. (Hello, my name's Tom, and I'm addicted to traffic. Please help me.) I could walk you through a traffic method - step by step - but the right method for one marketer, is the wrong one for another.

The method you choose?

It depends on your abilities and your resources.

What I'd suggest, mate, is looking around WF or Google for methods that relate to the sources I mention above.

Uncover the methods.

Or invent your own methods, as I often do, and see which ones fit best with your resources and abilities.

You can find them a lot on this forum .In my opinion youtube its a very good one because you have traffic for years to come and people are more inclined to buy from videos instead of blog posts etc

Your best free traffic method for promoting an affiliate product is to create a review video and post it on YouTube and using targeted keywords in your description.

Other than forum & YouTube, you may want to try FB group & Pinterest.

Social media sites namely reddit, linkedin, and youtube

Youtube, Facebook and pinterest are my go to options

With free traffic it can be difficult to target traffic per say.

If you build a list or another type of asset (Facebook page, etc) then that can sometimes help

My favourite free traffic sources are the following platforms:

Youtube: Organic Videos
Linkedin Video
Facebook Groups.

I think the above are the 3 most powerful ways to get free traffic to your offers.

However there is a disclaimer...

All of the above will take work and effort to generate traffic. But if you stick at it, add value in your content and remain consistent, you will be rewarded with lots of targeted free traffic and a loyal following who will buy your stuff.

Out of the above my favourite would have to be Youtube. If you can establish your Youtube channel and get your videos ranked, it has the potential to generate you thousands of leads and sales. But don't expect it to happen overnight.

If it were that easy, everyone would be successful affiliate marketers.

The truth is, affiliate marketing is a business and you will need to put in time and effort to learn what works and what doesn't for your niche.

This forum is a great place to learn. Once you figure it out, you can do very well financially.

With that said, there are a ton of sources for free traffic, but just like opening a new restaurant on a busy street, you still have to pull that traffic in.

Helping people is one great way to generate traffic. You can help people by educating them on a product or service for which you will earn a commission. You need to be genuine ant provide great value.

Here are some things you can do:

1. Start a blog in you niche. You can review products and services, and also teach people how to do things. You can use social media to reach people looking for what you are teaching. Traffic will also begin to grow organically (if your content is valuable).
2. Make videos for YouTube, also teaching how to use products and services, and do reviews (as mentioned above). Always use carefully crafted titles and use keywords to reach your audience. They will find your videos.

Don't send traffic directly to affiliate offers. That does not work any more (with few exceptions). You need to add value.

Find some influencers. You can tap into their lists and get instant traffic. They are targeted, you will look for influencer in your nitch.

I personally use Openinfluence and Shoutcart. Both are powerful platforms and you can get super targeted traffic.

And because the people who join the group are interested in what your marketing its targeted traffic

Use safe email marketing where prospects view and respond to high valued or compelling ads.

It's free to boot but as you get bigger, you'd be looking to buy credits and free up your time.

Actually it's fun - all you have to do is click SEND. Mouth watering results and a joy to be using them.

For free traffic, you can try forums, blog commenting, Reddit, Fb groups, Twitter, and YouTube.

A good long term option would be to build a blog and do SEO. Rank your blog on the search engines and you will get highly targeted free traffic.

I don't think it's a choice between blogs and Facebook etc.

You should use them all together, back and forth, to build up your
reputation and traffic, and build relationships with potential customers.

And, of course, work on building a list while you're at it, by offering
them a compelling lead magnet.

-Facebook: create facebook page and group then grow up member both in targeting audiences. Join public related groups and share your post on this gust post.

-Instagram: create relevant instagram account and grow your follower and daily post there.

-Pinterest: create Pinterest business account and also create broad and pin with good content and also with hash tags.

-Reddit: firstly, create reddit community and share each others and that why increase reddit karma. When more than 200 karma then share your post others subreddit.

-Google Plus: Create account with community and post then join others related community share.

-Blog Commenting: Search auto approve relevant blog sites and share your articles there.

-Forum: participate forum site and share your experience then when you accepted admin then share your signature.

-Blog: Create free blog site and design your own choice with good content given your landing page then share this blog social media websites. etc
