Some help please regarding some offline products...

I haven't been on the Warrrior Forum in awhile. I've been looking at Maria Gudelis' Ultimate Cash System, Kevin Wilke's Local Business Money Machine, and Offline X Factor. Does anyone have any recommendations on which one to purchase and why? Thanks...

While I haven't used Maria or Kevin's systems (and I'm sure they're great too), I can say that the Offline X Factor is a pretty strong program. The videos on exactly what to do to sell services to local businesses were really interesting and the amount of effort that they're putting into the product (in terms of adding to it and expanding it) is really encouraging.

Thanks smisen for the reply. What do they really mean when they say no technical skills required? Would that suggest that you outsource those services requiring no technical skills on your part? Anyone have any clue what kind of "lead valves" in general they are referring to? What like using video, articles, rss, Gmaps, etc.? Is there anyone using their system now and having any success?

Most of the stuff that they talk about the course are things that anyone can do - optimizing a company's site, Google Local listings, etc. It's pretty easy to do yourself or to outsource. However, I will say that when you're doing offline marketing, you need to know your stuff well enough to sell it to actual people - there's no hiding behind a computer screen. If you're totally new to internet marketing, you might want to spend some time actually learning online sales techniques, how to get a site ranked and how to get traffic to it. Selling promises to an actual company if you aren't able to live up to your word isn't a situation you want to get yourself into.

Personally, I've done some offline marketing on a limited word-of-mouth basis, so while I wouldn't say I'm using their exact system and making money, I will say that I've incorporated their tips into projects I was already working on.

I found a TOC link for LBMM at:

      localbusinessmoneymachine dot com/ty-gettingstarted.html

      LBMM $385 x 3

      Ultimate Cash System $497

I've found some of Maria's backend offers:

      Offline Contracts $297
      Offline Virtual Summit $97
      Consulting Profits Club $97/month
      Offline Postcard Profits $21
      Video Marketing $29

It's starts to add up. What to choose... what to choose...

    Golden Hands:

If depends where you are at in your consulting knowledge. Are you a beginner or more advanced. If your a beginner, I would definately recommend Andrew Cavenaugh's and David Preston's Materials....as well as Shawn O'Reilly's. Haven't bought Maria's Products nor Kevin Wilke's although I've bought many WSO's from members on the forum here.

    Success to you golden,

Thanks for the reply chrisnegro. I'm not a complete newb with internet marketing or offline direct marketing. I have an assortment of IM tools and have Andrew's materials. There are so many choices, so many great offers on this forum.

      Thanks for that Chris!

I think it's really funny, but great that just
about everybody and their brother jumped
on the offline marketing deal nowadays.

Everybody's an expert now, it wasn't like that
when Andrew and I were the only "Offline Pro's"
      on the forum.

It IS great that everybody is really starting to help
      their local business owners though.

      That's all that really counts

Thanks David_Preston for the reply. I was just looking at some of your products when I flipped back to the WF and I saw that you responded. I help local businesses already, dealing with employee health issues, ergonomics, increasing productivity, decreasing worker's comp costs and absenteeism, etc. Not much residual income. I'm a little disenchanted right now with my profession, dealing with health insurance companies, attorneys, etc. and I'm looking for another route to build residual income through consulting. I belong to one of biggest BNI chapters in my county, and have no problem speaking in front of people. I figured this offline consulting route is something that really interests me so I'm doing a little research to find out which product best fits with my long term goals.

I think it's VERY important to understand that if you already have some good knowledge of internet marketing then the smartest thing you can do is go talk to some business owners.

Start by talking to the business owners you know, the owners of businesses where you're spending money and the business owners your friends know.

That is the fastest way to get hired and you don't really need to buy a product to do it.

Remember that you make money by taking action that will make you money...not by studying the latest program.

Also any decent product is going to mean a lot more to you if you're already taking action.

          Kindest regards,
          Andrew Cavanagh

Thanks Andrew! I actually have spoken to a number of businesses already... a work comp advisor, an auto performance parts manufacturer in a different state, etc. All are interested.

What do I for legal documents? NDA? Agreement Forms? How to write a proposal? Service fees? There's a lot of missing information. It would be nice to present them with something professional and not look like a total newb in consulting, ya know.

That's why I was looking into those proven systems. Something to start with and not start from scratch.

Btw... I didn't figure to have some offline heavyweights replying back.

            Thanks again for your replies!

The thing I always say about off-line consulting is that "people buy people". In other words - people are more likely to hire someone they know, because they know and trust you, than they are to hire someone who mails them a random card.

You already have clients - you need to start talking to them about webdesign/seo/marketing - or whatever service it is that you want to offer.

Do you have a website of your own? If you don't - get one quickly. Then you have something to show your prospective clients and to talk to them about. Maybe offer to do a free site for you local church, toddler group or whatever so you can start to build up a portfolio to talk to clients about.

I'm with you on that Andrew!

Most products are trying to teach you
            how to "consult".

            You don't need a product other than....YOU!

I guarantee you that you know much more than
they do about the internet and marketing.

Just talk to them, LISTEN and offer a simple solution
to start. Baby steps in the beginning will lead to giant
steps in the future with clients.

The bottom line is if you're really trying to help them,
it comes through in the form of awesome referrals

            Hope that helps...

A lot of marketers are capitalizing & creating courses about the "Offline" market now. I've bought many of Maria's products & they are very good (& well worth the money). She was a student of David Preston's (I've bought some of his as well). Each has their own style. You don't need to buy everything she offers. Contracts aren't needed if it's a friendly deal (with big companies, you'll need them). Postcards are just one way to get clients. She covers many more ways in her course (not necessarily going to door-to-door, which some others advocate). I was lucky enough to get involved early on & had some success before her system was going for $497. But think of it this way, just ONE client will pay for the course.

You never know who may need your services. A 77 year old friend of mine that I didn't even think to mention what I was doing to, told me she recently turned her visiting nephew onto a $20,000 website job for someone at her church! (He was just passing through.) If I would have opened my mouth, I could've had that job! What's that saying? "A closed mouth doesn't get fed."

          Thanks Chris,

Had to open a new account here

They couldn't get my original to work properly
so I lost all the kudos and counts but it really
          doesn't matter though.

They could transfer the info though...
