Which of these 3 offer launch approaches do you like the most?

Hello, fellow warriors!

Let's say I can create a specific type of digital product every month. Let's call this type of product "widget" (it could be anything, like a PLR product, a special report, article pack, etc...)

What option do you think is best?

OPTION 1: Create a recurring offer where customers get a new widget every month. 7-day trial for $1 and then $27/month. Ask affiliates to promote this offer.

PROS: The $1 trial makes it easy for people to get on board. Plus, a recurring offer will mean many customers will be paying every month, because they will not cancel their membership.

CONS: Affiliates will just promote this offer once, and that's it.

OPTION 2: Launch a new widget every month. Sell it for $37.

PROS: Affiliates will have an excuse to promote again and again, and keep sending more customers.

CONS: People will need to be actively promoted to and convinced to buy the new widget every month.

OPTION 3: Launch a new widget every month, for $37. On the thank-you page (or as an upsell), ask customers to join the recurring offer (7-day trial for $1 and then only $27/month. They will get one extra "widget" right then and there).

PROS: Affiliates will have an excuse to promote again and again, and keep sending more customers. Some customers will be converted to monthly members.

CONS: Some affiliates or customers may find the upsell confusing, or wonder why it wasn't presented in the front-end.

What do you think?

Thanks in advance!

I like the simple option #1. No confusion, it's straight-forward and it's easy to follow for affiliates and customers. Plus, affiliates have the opportunity (if you allow it) to earn recurring commissions, which is always a selling point.

Please don't quote the entire post to reply. You're clogging-up the forum. unnecessarily. Quoting a relevant line or two will generally suffice.

Additionally, your name is in your avatar. No one misses it. lol

      Thank you.

What is the purpose of creating a new widget ever single month? Why not just build something that's evergreen and sell it or charge a monthly fee to have access to it?

It seems to me that it will be a very hard sell to say "you're going to get this widget today... and for $27, you'll receive a widget next month but you have no idea if you want, need or will use it."

I personally like #1. Simple and straight to the point. No bs.
