Starting an Internet Media & Promotions Company

This is what's up: I'm trying to start a content writing/e-marketing/SEO business, and I need advice on how to reach the correct demographic. I know how to gain generic exposure on multiple platforms, but where are the best places to go to target internet users who are looking for my services? (I'm trying to reach out to bloggers, e-commerce websites, startup businesses, and social media account/public figures) Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Your demographic could pretty much be any one who has does any business online.

Where are you located? You could start there. I'm not from California but as an example I entered 'pasadena seo' into my search bar. That's probably the best way of attracting customers. Naturally, you can do this for various cities and build out as your advertising budget allows..

I'd probably start by listing your services on the freelancing sites. You could build a following of customers through there. The target market you describe is probably going to those sites to find people who offer your types of services.

If you can get SEO results well enough to offer it as a service, I would rank your own site for the related keywords your audience is searching for. Use what you know to gain traction.

I would choose a few niches inside of what you've already targeted. For example, maybe you go after car dealers or fashion e-commerce website. If you have a narrower niche to work with, it's easier to market to, IMHO.

Get started by creating your company and brand. Second start offering your services on websites like Freelancer, Fiverr and Fourerr. Build up 100% positive rapport and you will be very busy with gigs.

What makes your services stand out from everybody else's? Start from there.

Remember, they want more traffic. Not just any traffic. Highly convertible traffic.
And they don't need so-so subscribers. Willing to pay ones. That's what they really want.
    ...

But they don't want to spend too much money.
So give them an irresistible trial deal.
But they don't want to spend too much time.
So show them why they won't need to micro manage your team.
    ...

Cause at the end of the day:

they want more sales. They want better viral marketing results.
And higher repeat business margins. And to save a lot of time and money.
    That's what they really want.
    ...

I bet after you do those things, you can really identify your ideal prospects. Here's why:

You can identify the exact niches and industries where you specialize.
'Cause it won't be simple to do those things.
    ...

Unless you have significant expertise. And authority knowledge.
In their niches. In their industries.
    ...

And once you do that -- You'll know where to reach them.
    And how. Here's a tip:

What works for me is to send them a proposal that's customized for their exact needs.
It's for a mutually beneficial trial arrangement. That they can renew later on.
For now, it's just to test things out. And to validate if we're a good fit as B2B partners.
    ...

-- And my best performing platform, so far, is LinkedIn InMail.
Feel free to post your questions. And comments. I'd love to learn from you.
