First post. Getting started

I'm excited to be here this seems like a great resource for entrepreneurs. About me. I trade stocks for a living and will be creating a website and blog to help others because there is so much to learn and I want to pay it forward from all that have helped me. It got me thinking while putting in the time and work on content I might as well monetize it with relevant affiliate programs. I have several question I'm hoping this forum can help answer.

Edit- I realize this is a lot of question so feel free to just pick one or two that you have info on. Thanks Steve b

    Just an observation ... you'll get much better answers and discussion to your questions if you ask them one post at a time. You've asked a dozen questions in this post and most members here don't have the time or patience to give in-depth answers to all you've asked.


    I will answer one question and let others tackle what they want.

    It is best to not use any spinning of content. It is the lazy person's way of trying to get links and attention.


    It is also copyright infringement in many cases, even if you do attribution because you don't have the creator's permission and you are creating a "derivative" of original content. It is acceptable to do curation using short snippets that you editorialize or analyze, but that is not "spinning" and it still should have a link or mention of the source document.

      Thanks for your quick reply I will have to look into curation. Can you maybe give me an example of how this would look and how you would properly reference? Most content will be my own I'd just like to have this option as sometimes I will come across and article or post someone else has done that would benefit my reader.

      I would honestly steer you away from investing in crypto. It's very volatile and it's hard at sometimes to get liquid to cash. I have played some blockchain stocks in the past, but that was over a year ago when it was a bullish market for crypto. I tend to follow rule with trading and that is short a bearish market and going long in a bullish one. Not that it's always true, but a good rule to follow. My website is still in development but it will be targetingalpha.com

        Crypto can be so rewarding, but only if you know what are you doing. You can loss a lot of money if you dont know what you are doing. BUT, with proper researcha and with the time spent learning trading, investing, learning about crypto coins and their projects, you can make killing.

        Crypto is very young, but slowly more and more people are using it, more people see advantages in crypto and blockchain, cryptos more and more changing our attitude to financial operations so this means that crypto will grow and you should jump in as soon as possible into crypto world.

        It's just my opinion.

    It sounds like you are heading down the right path. Most people cannot make a living trading stock, so if you have, that is useful information.

    You are right on point with building a website and blog to start sharing your knowledge.

    Why not YouTube? I think this is a much better platform for giving helpful information.

    And yes, add in the affiliate products.

      YouTube will be one of the routes I will be going in the future. But I am not as comfortable executing my ideas on video as in text as of now and I'm my experience written platform has its benifits too in that you can read the info no matter if you laying in bed next to your wife who is sleeping or sitting in a waiting room. But I absolutely will target YouTube as one avenue. Plus as stocks are highly speculative and you have to be careful in your recommendations I'm not sure how the terms of service on my website would transfer or cover YouTube.
