How to use YouTube videos to market WITHOUT Showing Your Face!!

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum and excited to be part of things

I've begun using YouTube to promote Affiliate links and products. I know that one of the biggest barriers to getting started is the paranoia that comes with being on video. But I've learned recently that there is no need to show your face on video, actually some of the best videos don't show the hosts face.

In the below video, I outline how to create a successful YouTube video, without showing your face...

Enjoy, and chat soon..

Hi Barry...your video was approved because you didn't include the video. It's against forum rules to use the forum to promote your own videos.

But your main point is valid, it isn't necessary to use your face to have successful Youtube videos and channels.

If you want to better position yourself in the market - show up.

It gives a stronger impression that goes with the association of an endorsed product.

And a more memorable branding effect.

I guess it depends on how he defines his channel. If he's a blogger who wants to promote affiliate products by endorsing them in his videos, then you are definitely right. Though if he just makes some sort of video reviews, then it would be better to focus on the product itself, and in this case, his identity can easily be omitted.

You don't have to show your face in video to promote any product/service on Youtube. I agree with this one.

One of my most liked and highly watched youtube videos is a powerpoint slide with useful info and background music.

  • You can slowly learn and practice to show your face if you want to get some branding. It is only helpful if you at least have some kind of 'friendly' face that is accepted by the audience.

You can buy NARRATED slide show videos on Fiverr (slideshows with pictures and voice over narration with music0

You supply the script, they do the rest.

It costs very little and yes, you don't have to show your face
