Why is the Facebook business account gets blocked almost immediately after I unblock it?

Hi everyone:

I'm trying to help set up a Facebook marketing campaign for a small business in the U.S. I did this a few years back, but something has changed since. This time I couldn't find a way to set up a Facebook business account (i.e. Page) without having a personal account.

Since I deleted my personal Facebook a while back, nor that I would use it to set up someone else's business page, I tried to create a personal account for the owner. Real name and everything. And right off the bat it got blocked. (I was using a personal email account for the business owner, that was something like me@personsname.com.) Right off the bat they wanted me to upload the personal picture, provide a cells phone number and then verify it. I did all that. Then they let me create it.

I then created a business page, uploaded a logo and a wide banner on the top. But then when I was in the process of going through other settings, they blocked that account again. It said that to secure my account I need to upload a personal picture. Again! So I did it again. Then it took them about 24 hrs to unblock that account.

So yesterday I was prepping up the business page when right in the middle of saving my data, it repeated this again. Seriously!

Here's the sequence:

1. This page first comes up:



We want to make sure your account is secure

We've recently noticed unusual activity from your account. We've logged you out to help keep Facebook safe for you and everyone else.

To get you back into your account, we'll walk you through a few steps.

2. Then I get a Captcha.



3. Then they want me to upload a photo:

To get back on Facebook, upload a photo that clearly shows your face. Make sure the photo is well-lit and isn't blurry. Don't include other people in the shot.

We use this photo to help us check that this account belongs to you. We'll delete the photo once we've done this, and it will never appear on your profile.

4. I upload a photo like they want and then I get this page:

Thanks, <name>. We'll send an update once we've reviewed your photo.

We're always looking out for your security, so until then you won't be able to use Facebook.

OK
After that I have to wait for about 24 hrs for them to unblock it. Only to be blocked again when I log back in after a few hours!

This has happened 3 times already!

So what am I doing wrong? (Well, besides using Facebook.)

    They know you are not the person you are claiming to be (your client).

    You should have had that person create a personal account and then grant you access.

      My client doesn't have a Facebook account. Like I said I created it for him. The guy probably doesn't even know how to turn on the computer. So how would the FB know all that.

        You are claiming to be him, but you are posting from somewhere other than where he lives. It's a simple matter of IPs.

        The bottom line is FB doesn't want people creating "fake" accounts. If you are claiming to be someone you're not, that constitutes a "fake" account.

        This is not rocket science.

    I had same problem...
    Here is what i did, i sent message(report problem section) to facebook with headline "security threat" described how everything was normal, until one day when i got security check. I had to send picture of myself and had to wait until they manually review it. After my account got unfrozen, short a while i got same issue with security.
    Did it like three times..
    And at least fourth time, sent em report with question why does this keep happening. The employee answered me that my credit card linked to my account somehow got flagged, and my account was by system automatically turned down due to security issue. They asked me can i confirm my credit card number. After i did it they removed mark from my credit card and account who also due to credit card got marked. I kept using account normally, but... Keep in mind that if you are doing big volume or your all financials depend only on facebook ads you definitely should get more then one ad account and payment method.

    The dumbest people in the world have managed to create a personal Facebook page. Seriously, if your client can't do that, I have no idea how they have managed to live this long, let alone run a business.

    You've been told the answer already. Have the client set up their own personal Facebook page. Your IP address is getting flagged. Otherwise, move onto another client who has at least three brain cells.
