Which means many opportunities for people that want to make money.

Shopping for Christmas will be picking up and possibly even better - all the New Years resolutions are coming.

It's a great time to work on capitalizing on cps offers like Amazon for Christmas and health and wellness (and other) type of offers for New Years.

Is anyone ready?

I have planned a few offers to promote. But I am not getting my hopes high. In fact I never think that they will work out even though if I have a very good business plan.

should have been ready for christmas by August at the latest.

If you have a list in the appropriate niches it would be a good time to write up some promotional emails.

you might be able to still get some sales with amazon if you are not already prepared by using ads such as facebook

I agree. It's alwsys best to be ready early. Unfortunately not everyone is I'm guessing.

I still think there is time left depending on the promotion methods.

Personally, when I ran my business, full-time, I basically took off from the 15th of December until around January 5th, or so. That break enabled me to tackle the new year with an inordinate amount of energy and clearheadedness. I came back like a man on mental steroids with an improved perspective. No amount of money that I could have made during that period would have been worth the trade-off.

I can assure you that if you spend your life trying to wring every penny out of every day of your life, in your own mind, no matter how much money you make, it will never be enough.

I loathe trite clichés, but in my old age I have come to better understand their place, so here's two for you. "Man does not live by bread, alone" and "Stop and smell the roses."

Oh, let's not forget, "Life is short." That one is my absolute favorite, because it can't be refuted, at any level.

    Cheers.

Passive income always has been, is now and always will be, an Internet myth.

As long as people are searching for ways to produce passive income and
there's a market behind that notion, it's as real as it gets.

That "myth" is making people money.

Example: a rebrandable ebook that keeps spreading among circles
is making the author recurring money. And that is just scratching
the surface. There are myriads of examples out there.

I'd rather be paid for repeat sales other than one off sales.

It's a fact that some people leave money on the table
but quite a few on the flip side, beg to differ. Some
avoid passive income like a plague. No problemo, as I
said before, there's an endless stream of customers who
are sold on the idea that making things happen the "passive"
        way, works.

Until they discover that there's truly no such thing as passive income, unless you expect to live off of that one book, forever. Good luck, with that!

Anyone who believes they can throw something up and make a living off of it forever, without ever having to do any work in the future, are not customers. They're suckers. It's true, though. There does seem to be an endless stream of them. lol

    It's December, which means...
    1. Hard competition known as red ocean!
    2. Too late for most as agmccall said.
    3. To think out of the box like Rose Anderson will do for January.
    4. To check whether you're still broke or getting better (have something) to celebrate the year end and still survive for the next year!

Every year my Dad has received a personally signed Christmas card from one of our local Estate Agents (even though we have never used them), Now, if my Dad was to think about moving, who would he be more likely to hire? Just a thought. (Think "Giving")

Giving back is always a great thing to do and trust me I do this. I was more or less trying to just remind people there is still time to make money this year and to not just wait for the new year..

No I understand: It was good advice. : ) (Just thought I would add a different approach.) There's nothing wrong with making money -- especially when you're selling/promoting amazing/wonderful products.

Online wise we were ready for Christmas and New Years long ago.

Offline wise I recently rented two old barns to store all of the things purchased for the 2019 spring and summer flee markets.

When scouting auctions for lot sales I ran across a farmer that was selling dirt! Dirt of all things! Checked with a few construction companies and landscaping companies and I was surprised how much "clean dirt" costs. A lot more than I thought. That is something I plan to sell in the coming months.

Well said. The more useful information you have, the more likely you will succeed. (Providing that you act on what you have learned.)

A lot of people are itching to get back to their computers (and avoid the family in some cases?!) after Christmas. I am going to promote on Boxing Day too - will see what happens.

This is the time of year when I hit the stores for clearance items or after Christmas Sales and flip the items on ebay. Lowes Stores usually has a cart with products at drastic discounts that are easy to flip. Will do that again this year. Most profitable item was a special order faucet that was returned the one year.
