Pricing of subscription

Hi,

I have a subscription based website charging 17.99$/mo at the moment and I am thinking about experimenting with the price so it would look like this 0,6$/day billed monthly.

I have read some article which said that restating the price from monthly to daily amount can increase conversions. Do you think it's always the case? Or do you think that for some businesses it does not necessarily have to be the way to go? Subscriptions on my website are automatically renewed every month.

    Hi,

    This is a good idea. But, I also suggest to reduce the price a bit if you want to increase conversions. Just experiment for a month or so and evaluate the conversions. Further, it is also a good idea to offer discount for quarterly, half yearly and yearly payments in advance (if you are not doing that already).

    $0.6/day billed monthly seems vague to me. I think the published price should be $17.99/month.

    You can use the $0.6 per day on your sales pitch.

    Maybe stating the price correctly will increase conversions.

    It's catchy but based on my encounters with clients, most of them want something that can be paid on a yearly basis which ends up cheaper than paying monthly. Also, they don't like recurring subscriptions especially if you do not disclose it on your check out page. Most of them think they're paying a one time fee. They tend to forget cancelling it which makes them ask for refunds (more work for us) when they finally notice that their bank accounts are being deducted month after month.

    I'm not understanding. Why would $0.60 a day be billed monthly? That sounds more like a sales pitch opposed to actual billing.
