I just got this blog comment, referring to a video lesson:

"For lesson #1, the tape gets stuck at 11 minutes and 29 seconds."

The TAPE.... LOL! I love it.

What? You are selling tapes? How 20th century of you. I keep getting customer complaints that my records are scratchy. I KNOW that can't be true, my 1 year old taste tests all of them for me.

Reminds me of when I learned to type (back in the Good old Days of IBM Selectric typewriters...)

The instructor asked everyone to adjust the margin on the left side by pressing in and moving the margin guide to the left.

A girl in my class broke off the margin guide because she was pressing the "N" key.

Come to think of it, she may be the one who posted your comment

I keep getting asked for my email number, and another corker is "I emailed your website"

We can't be too smug though, I'm always concious though of how little I know about other subjects, from anything mechanical through to I am learning guitar. Badly

Would that be the cassette tape or the 8-track tape?

Oh, how very 1970s (or 1960s?) of you to offer such novelty items!

That IBM Selectric comment reminded me of the first time my now-17-year-old son saw a typewriter somewhere. He was convinced that it was one of those TDD units for the hearing impaired to use with a telephone. Argued with me about that one for days!
