Is there a FREE way to get email addressed/Email marketing?

I NEED to start collecting emails asap.
I am using clickbank and have an embarassing 0.25% conversion.

Meaning that I have made one sale and had ATLEAST 370 clicks on my presell page...meaning that I have made only ONE sale.

That was within 24 hours of having my AL up. Which got my hopes up a bit.

So until I figure out what I'm doing wrong (open to/appreciate suggestions) I really NEED start collecting email addresses asap...(free)

Any suggestions?

    How do you define "Free ways"? Is spending your times working consider free?

    If yes, then you can get more email addresses by giving away a product. You can go find some free products, do some research and rewrite your own ebook. Make sure the product you going to give away is in the same niche as your Clickbank products.

    Create a squeeze page for your free ebook giveaway and start driving traffic to that page. You can start a blog and put your squeeze page their for free. You can writes articles and link it back to that squeeze page or put up ads.

    I personally don't think there's a free way to anything. Time worth more than money.

      Do you mean that you're looking for a free autoresponder service? Get Response doesn't charge until you have 10 subscribers.

      True, time IS money. But at the moment my time is not worth much AT ALL.

      Anyway.
      Is that the best option? How can I do that?
      I was kind of hoping to get a 'sign up box' or something (can ya tell i'm a newbie?)
      Basicly, I want to have a small box that says 'download free ...... ebook, click here' and have another page popup where they can download the ebook in wxchange for their address. Is this a good method? How would I set this up?

      MailChimp dot com has a Free autoresponder you can create for up to 100 emails per month.

      I've used them for my first auto responer. They are simply and easy to use.

    Mailchimp is the way to go. You can build a list of up to 500 subscribers for free, and send up to 3,000 e-mails per month for free.
