Any Advice on How To Make Money With $200 Using Adwords?

Listen, I know this is a gamble, you don't have to tell me that. I'm looking for down to earth advice on what you could promote using Adwords to possibly turn a profit.

I don't expect miracles and I don't expect it to be easy. I have some experience with Adwords, but I don't have much experience on where to send people.

So, any advice on that? Like:

->landing page (build list, sell via list)
->direct linking (or redirect to aff offer, cpa offer)
->something else...

?

Again, I *know* this is a gamble. Just need some direction..I'm certainly not going to throw this money away, but it will be nice to use it to test conversions on some offers.

Thanks,
Damien.

    1) construct an optin page for EACH keyword optimized for that ONE keyword (this is not that hard - all you have to do is change a bit of the text and the end of the URL)

    2) Separate your ads into Groups - one adgroup for each keyword. Only use EXACT and Phrase match - do not use broad match

    3) construct EACH ADWORDS AD so that it mentions the keyword twice in the ad.

Now that you have a highly optimized ad going to a highly optimized landing/optin page, you can quickly build a list for the targeted market (it really doesn't matter which market although PROBLEM SOLVING SELLS BEST), your Q score should shoot to 10 pretty fast and your cost per click will be as low as possible.

I pay 13 cents and my competitors pay 40 cents and I get ranked higher because of the Q score.

Once you have a list going, send followup emails that give hints and tips for about 3 emails and then tell them in the 4th email WHY you are recommending the product and what it did for you (or a pen name YOU).

    That should do it.

    Hi Damien

The reality is that you won't make any money with those 200. That money will bring you probably 4000 visits to your site (depends on other factors). You will get back $10 dollars back for adsense.
The idea of adwords is to make branding to your website so people get to know you.
What you can do is to add an opt-in form to catch people emails, so later you can send them some relevant information about you.

If we get back to basics, the only way to make good money is selling things. products or services of quality, with a good service and a great buying experience for users.

Keep going and put your creative mind to work!

    OK!

    Dude - slap yourself!

The biggest part of ensuring success in this business is eliminating risk! Gambling is not a solid business strategy at all!

Take that $200 and get some articles written. I hope youre still following the ebook I sent over.

Damien, what works for me is quite simple.

I build dead easy 10 page websites, not including articles, and I sell my own products. I present the information as you would on any site, in a non confrontational manner, meaning, i dont HARD SELL. I provide some great information on the topic and I say, "..hey while you're here why dont you check out my product on ......"

    It works a treat.

Today Ive already made $180. Not a lot by any means, but its better than a loss. I dont pay for traffic, I dont do anything fancy. I simply implemented what I already knew and put it together.

My advice. Dont get caught up too much in the marketing stuff such as squeeze pages, PPC and so on. Sure this probably works well for some, or most even. Im just a big believer in keeping things simple initially.

My guess is, youre over thinking it.

Build a site, put some content there, and either sell something or promote someone elses stuff.

I you just start in IM, dont start spending on Adwords... try free traffic strategies first, while you are acting and start to see great result, you can (in the same time) learn about adwords, when you master it you can start to spend on it.

It is tempting to spend $$$$ on adwords, it is tempting to spend $$$$ on programs that will "make you rich".

I would suggest taking that $200 and getting some articles written. Pick a few niches that look good, and just jump in. Watch your results and build upon what works and cut what doesn't.

It won't make you rich overnight, and it takes time to see results, but its much better than losing your shirt.

Thanks guys! As always, fast, straight, down-to-earth answers from possibly the most fastest, straightest, most down-to-earth people on the internet.

I just noted in my other thread, I bought into a semi-established site which is already making sales and I really think if I put some of what I've learned to the test, I can make this earn far more - then either stick with it or flip it.

I'm using ejunkie at the moment so I may go over to DLGuard, and if so, part of that $200 will now go on that. It's not a huge priority yet though - will no doubt spend the $200 on content(articles) for the blog and article directories.

Really, thanks so much for all the info above. I have these threads bookmarked to read over a few times.
