Unless most of your business is Holiday oriented (like Christmas trees), the best way to avoid a slow down of sales is by PLANNING to have products in your pipeline all year long.

This is BOOM time for gym memberships, weight loss products, get fit, self-improvement products...then SALES events,President's Day in USA, Valentine's Day, St Patrick's, Martin Luther King, etc., etc.

Those are year round PROMOTION times. And savvy marketers PLAN to have products available not only for those yearly occasions, but for the on going needs and wants, do teens stop getting acne after the holidays? Do girls quit buying cosmetics?

See? Almost every large direct marketer considers this AFTER holiday time to be the best time of the year, but then, they do PLAN it that way, eh?

This is my busiest time of the year. I'm still kind of shocked by the number of leads I sold yesterday.

Maybe you should add some more niches to your operation.

  • Thanks, I was thinking myself into a rut. Of course there are more sales out there. I need to find some new products and audiences that aren't just buying christmas gifts.

Yep. This is one reason I don't recommend tying yourself too tightly to a single niche. Products and buying trends come and go. One of the beauties of IM is the ability to have numerous different "specialty shops."
