How Do I Do Competitive Research A Product To Find Out If It Is Selling Well Online

Hi everyone,

I have a product in mind of trying to sell online, it is in the health and wellness niche, it relieves pain.

1) How do I use google trends to find out if it is a good product to sell

2) How can i use other platforms like amazon or ebay to find out if the product is a HOT seller or bad seller

3) How do i find out what my competitors are doing is there a tool to find out how much product is being bought from their site

4) What would you do to find out if a physical health and wellness product will sell or not online before you get involved trying to sell it online

    Start here: https://trends.google.com/trends/?geo use the 3rd option to give you a wide picture ( 2004 to now ), use the first one to give you a 7 day micro look

    I would look at a few things how many listings there are. With Ebay you can goto advanced search ( top left if looking from PC ) and click on sold listings and see the amount of sales for that product for the last few days or couple of months depending on volume. With Amazon, you can look towards the bottom of the page and find the products rank in that category,

    Usually not... you can do a search for the name of the site and see if they share anything in a roundup post? I have found this data from time to time.

    Although it is wise to do some research, it would be even better to establish yourself as an expert.

    Build a blog in the health and wellness niche. Give advice for free. Review products in an honest way (or you will lose your audience), and have links for the products. You will also find that you can get the vendors to send you product to test and blog about.

    You will become valuable, build a loyal audience, and make far more money this way.
