CRM for link building?

Hello,
I've recently taken over doing blogger outreach for some clients and noticed that the system used (or rather not used) by my predecessor was a mess. I have worked through his emails and gathered a nice list of partners. All of them are now stored in an Excel table - and this is a solution that's far from being ideal.

Here is my question: can you recommend a CRM, preferably with a free trial or a free tier, that I could use to keep track of the interactions (emails, payments, special requests and their likes) with the websites I work with? Note that I have a list of a couple of thousand.

Any help and suggestion would be appreciated.

Without knowing what the problem is, specifically, it is hard to know what you are looking for. What, exactly, is the problem with using Excel? What is it that you are trying to accomplish that Excel is not giving you? So far, with the limited list you provided, it sounds like Excel would work just fine. In an ideal world, what would this miraculous piece of (free) software do that is a game changer for you?

Basically, I would like to automate a few tasks, like sending follow-up emails, keeping track of conversations, and especially reporting about new link prospects and such.

For blogger outreach and link building purpose, Ninja outreach has all the features you will need however it is expensive. You can do a test drive with their 7 day trial.

For General purpose you can try ZOHO CRM as it is cheap and efficient.
