Turning Instagram Curation Account into Brand

Hello, I'm just looking for some advice regarding turning my Instagram Curation account into a brand. (Has a decent following. Around top 30 in the niche)

I'm not sure what sharing the account name would entail, so I am just going to give an example. The example name will be "FishingVideos." As you can tell, it's not really a "brandable" name. It's just a page that this purely Fishing Videos. I'm open to any ideas whether it's a total re-branding of the page, or going all in. At the moment, I believe the page is seen as just a video page, but my goal is for it to become a brand that people are emotionally invested in. I hope that makes sense.

My end goal is to be able to monetize this account. The niche I'm in isn't big enough for many companies to be looking into advertising on Instagram accounts. They focus more on sponsoring personal brands. The idea I have in my mind is to turn this account into a brand that people believe in and start to develop products/services to monetize it to the audience. Of course, that might not be the ideal path to take. That's why I'm here to get some new perspective.

I am very new to this, so I am open to any thoughts or advice that you may have! Thank you for your time!

Brand it with location, such as American (continent), USA (country/nationality), NewYork or NY (city name), and thing like Niagara (other places name that are famous/familiar to people).

    Hello,

"The idea I have in my mind is to turn this account into a brand that people believe in and start to develop products/services to monetize it to the audience."

Don't create something hoping others will jump in and "maybe" do something that will help your own business grow. That's basically putting the life of your business in someone else's hands.

I personally go into competitive niches that are proven money makers with big audiences.

Competition is good... it means there's money to be made and there's plenty to go around

Good luck with whatever path you take with your business

  • Hello!
First of all - You don't have to wait untill any company will contact with you to ask about the purchasing of advertising. You can take the initiative and search for websites of companies in your niche and write to them with a proposal of cooperation.
In case if it wouldn't work you can also promote afilliate offers in your profile.
