Have you ever grown anything as in vegetables in your garden?

Organic growth online can be a lot like gardening.

If you plant the right plants at the right time and fertilise them when necessary and be sure to tend to them and weed out the poor performers and other weeds then you can reap a harvest much earlier than people who just sow seeds expecting results.

    For example.

I have several varieties of climbing spinach type plants that tolerate hot weather very well.

The problem with these plants is they take a long time to germinate and are then a bit slow to get to the productive stage.

However once established they give me a really heathy green vegetable for an extended period of time. You have to water and nurture.

    Same with anything online.

You can get a rapid growing shoot that shows promise but the rapid growing things generally lack longevity and those that do have longevity will get knocked off and profitability will be reduced.

The trick is to plant a wide variety of proven crop producers or "profit drivers" and then make sure you nurture those proven producers so you gradually build out a consistent supply of profit.

I can go out and plant some micro veggies every week and get a small crop to eat that day or week but I've got to maintain that fast production.

Alternatively I can plant successive and supportive producers and eat everyday from minimal maintenance.

Translate that into IM and you've got a model to follow.

    Propagate

    Cultivate

    Nurture

    Harvest

    Clone

    Repeat.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

To gain organic traffic depends on how you perform SEO and how you market your website. SEO works great but needs a lot of knowledge and time to get good results. Social media is one very effective way to gain visitors to your website. Create social media accounts and post relevant contents regularly to get more followers and viewers to your website. Lead your social media followers offsite, to your own website. Join forums related to your website's niche. For example, if your niche is photography, be active on forums and/or chat groups that shares things related to it.

Some of your pages will be indexed, some not.
I think first of all, all meta tags, titles and descriptions should be very revelant to the site structure.

    Make sure that:

    1. Your on site seo is right. Titles, tags, urls, descriptions.
    2. Your content must be seo optimized so not even human can easily read and understand, but also search engines too.
    3. Make sure you building links back to your site. Backlinks.

I am not an expert, but maybe these few tips will help to speed up the things and you will receive organic traffic faster.

Using social media can help you get organic traffic as fast as within 24 hours when you do it right. You know where your target market is and you have what they want. As you may now... everything is very large available out there. So, you need to know what you have to do and how you should aim it.
It's like fishing. You must know where the fish, what the fish like, and how to catch them, when to catch them, with whom you will go fishing with, your equipment, your boat, etc. The more you're familiar and ready with those related stuff of fishing, then the chance to get the fish faster is possible.

It may take upto 3 to 6 months to start getting any decent Google traffic, if proper longtail keyword research and offpage & onpage SEO are done. Adding site manually in search engines does help to get indexed faster. Quality is always better than quantity for backlinks.

It depends on what kind of website you have and what kind of products or services you are offering.

    It depends on various factors.

1). How old your domain is
    2) How old your website is
3). What kind of competitors you have and where they are ranking
4). Content is the most important part of any website
5). Faster loading, better and simple UI, mobile friendliness website
6). Also depends on no. of backlinks

So, above all factors is playing the main role in order to rank your website. For organic traffic, first of all, you have to rank your website on at least a 1st page on targeted keyword.

There is no predefined timeline for getting organic traffic. It may take up to 2 months or 3 months or 6 months or N. no of time as well. But if your content is well written and unique which help users to which they finding then from google point of view, your website will definitely start ranking and get traffic in a very short time.

I hope this answer will help you.

It depends on your working. how you perform SEO and how you market your website. If you've just made a Wordpress blog where you post your own thoughts about politics, you're not likely to get a lot of organic traffic.
If you've just built a website for your business as a local, you can expect some organic traffic almost immediately and sometime it takes time depend your knowledge and working.

To get organic traffic, on average it takes 6-12 months to see full effect of all work you are doing. There are ways that you can speed this process up but there are also some elements that can slow this down.

To speed this up, adding more and more fresh content to your site. The way that i would recommend that you do this is by having a blog. You are able to link to other pages on your site from here which also helps with building your internal link structure.

Also, external link building is a must. However, paying for backlinks is seen as a blackhat approach to SEO. You should be looking to generate good quality content that others are going to want to link to. Paying for backlinks is against Google's terms however, most places will charge a fee to publish your content.

The ways that you can negatively effect organic traffic are:

Getting backlinks from sites that are not relevant to your industry.

Getting backlinks from sites that have a low Domain Authority and high Spam Score.

Buying backlinks from PBN's (Private Blog Networks)

Please take this information in to account when looking to grow your organic traffic.

    Regards.

For organic traffic from Google with no backlinks it could be 12-16 months in a busy niche.
What's a busy niche I hear you say, well, busy would be Electronics, Yoga, etc.

I have personal experience with this has I have a site in the "mindfulness" niche and I've seen hardly any Google traffic in 10 months.

So how do I know these figures? Well, I contacted a "blogging company" that builds niche websites from new, rather than use a generic site and put all their blogs on it, they build multiple niche sites of about 40 articles. They use no back-links and it takes 12-18 months for their articles to rank on ave, sometimes less, sometimes more.

They tell me that almost impossible these days is Health & Money (Your Money Your Life) Sites, where Google uses EAT as it's guide. So if you have no authority, trust or expertise, you will find it hard to rank.

Of course, this is all without back-links and I'm sure from my research that this does work, but the risk is too great for me and the company involved!

If you are new to SEO and want good traffic to your site you can try link outreach method. Nowadays, all are using this outreach tactic and it's too much effective than the old school SEO methods. So, I m suggesting here everyone to try link outreach tactic once on your website. I know its hard to get traffic initially but for future prospective its a great way to do SEO and get traffic from those backlinks which you will create on your content and use it in the outreaching method. Hope you will understand it and will try it.

Make sure have properly executed all the on-page aspects on your website such as meta titles, meta description, URL, sitemap. Organic search traffic is very subjective. It totally depends upon you, Your efforts, targeted Keyword & your backlink Generation technique.
But usually it takes about 6 months to about 1 year to get some good amount of organic traffic.
You must have some relevant Content. Try to get some good amount of content on your website & you will rank high.

Depends on the Type of your website. If you have an e-commerce website, you must be getting Organic Traffic by the end of 3rd month, if your marketing is going in the right direction and by 6th month you should be hitting a home run as far as sales are concerned.
If you have a blogging site, well can take upto 6 months and so.
An excellent way to incur organic traffic is via link building, but I'm sure you should sign up with an SEO service provider, just so you dont fall for black hat.

It depends on your strategy of SEO and the speed of search engines to index your website on their search engine. I have several websites. Those sites got different time frames to index on Google even though I used similar strategies for all my sites.

But it is important say it took very less time to index my Facebook graphic designing business page on Google than my all other wordpress we sites. It clearly show the pages you made on very popular sites like Facebook, Twitter and Google plus are indexing faster than your regular websites. Because of that I made a Facebook store for my banner, logo and social media cover designing services. Within 3-4 months of promotion of that fan page I got my first sale. Now I gets over $ 1 K sales per month. But my website still gets $ 200 sales per month. As organic traffic I got over 40000 views per month on Facebook store but for the website I got only $5000 views per month.

Hope you got some idea of what affects in indexing on a search engine from my description above. Good luck.

I do not have a definite answer for that question.

It all boils down to what offer you are promoting, who is your target audience and how engaged they are with you?

Does not matter if it is SEO, FB groups and forums like this.

What matters are what I highlighted above.

If you want FASTER results, paid traffic is the way to go.

Question is are you willing to lose small sums temporarily to profit big long-term?

As per my experience, There is no such thing as an "SEO-a magic scam" that will rank your site #1 on Google by tomorrow. A lot of non-legitimate web organizations guarantee SEO results in a for all intents and purposes moment time period, yet we should be reasonable - SEO is a wine that shows signs of improvement after some time.

But Still, it takes around three to six months for the site to rank sufficiently high in Google. You won't begin seeing generous natural online traffic following your site is propelled. The span depends to a great extent on the watchwords you use...

Hi! Tnx for asking. The best way to increase website traffic right off the bat and with little expense is good SEO! A well optimized website will get more traffic and more potential customers. SEO means optimizing your URLs, making sure you don't have any broken links or pages that don't work (no one likes a 404), using headlines, meta tags, titles and descriptions so Google can properly recognize your content. Basically you should do some keyword research related to your business and include the those words and your location in prominent places on your website (like the title, meta description).

You should make sure to share valuable content on your website and include high quality images with correct sizes. Another good way to increase website traffic, that is also free, is to promote it on social media! Most of the population everywhere is one or another social media platform. Find out which one your customers spend the most time on, and share your content there.

Website traffic can be greatly increased by sharing content in facebook groups and relevant forums for your industry. But paid ads might be the best way to get traffic quickly. You can choose between Google ads, Facebook and Instagram ads, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Yelp, Houzz (well pretty much every platform has them!). Again, be sure to choose the ones that work best for you and your audience and possibly even hire a professional to maximize your ROI.

We hope this answer is helpful. We'd be glad to answer in more detail.

Depending upon the keyword competition, low competitive keyword takes 3 to 5 months to rank in Google SERPs, the keyword that has medium competition could take up to 5-8 months and more time period is required to rank high competitive keywords. Your website will start to get traffic once your targeted keywords appear on higher positions in Google SERPs. Research well on your targeted keywords, keep the combination of long tail and generic keywords related to your niche. Create high quality content on targeted keywords and use them for guest posting as well as for website blogs. Make sure that your on page optimization is up to mark.

It depends on how hard your client wants to work, meaning how much real and relevant content can be created and how much competition there is for their key word phrases. Also, how big is their niche? If no one would ever search for their desired niche, they may never be found. And if they don't have time or desire to work hard, it depends on how much money they have to invest in their content marketing team.

SEO is a patient game for the most part and you need to be in it for the long-term. Target keywords that help solve problems and answer people's questions. Always strive to provide as much value as you can to your readers.

Firstly, if you think you will get quick results with SEO, then think again. SEO is a very long term strategy. So if you're just starting out, there are easier and more effective ways of generating traffic such as social media.

The most effective SEO's are those that have a clear direction and plan on what type of goal they are trying to achieve. You should have a big long-term goal which may take several years to accomplish and other much smaller, more attainable goals along the way.

Keyword research tools can be your best friends, use them wisely. In the early stages of any SEO campaign, I would always recommend targeting long tail keywords with far less competition.

    Think of it like this.

    Longtail keyword #1 - Monthly searches 150
    Longtail keyword #2 - Monthly searches 300

Main keyword - Monthly searches 20,000

In most cases, it would be far easier to rank for 100 long tail keywords than to rank for 1 difficult keyword. Long tail keywords also tend to have a higher conversion rate because they are usually more targeted.

You will also see results much faster which will keep you motivated for the bigger goal. Again, it's about achieving small goals along the way.

If you decide to take the SEO route, I hope this helps!

If you have a domain name with the main keyword of your business in it that a lot of people is searching for, you can see some results even in a few months.

Otherwise, it will take somewhere around 1 year before start ranking KW on the SERP!

The big leap is actually is after the 2nd year, 3th year!

It depends on various factors eg.

    Your
    • site age
    • Keywords You are targeting
    • Competition
    • SEO

Competition and ranking is pretty much directly proportional in most of the cases. If your keywords and niche has huge traffic, it will also have competition.

But if all seo & research is done strategically. It can take max. of 3 - 6 months (if its new domain) to get traffic via google. You can track your site performance eg. impression, click and keywords in Google webmaster.

I copied the "income school" method, where you write 30 articles to start with and add to them over time, in a targeted niche.
It's been 11 months and only one article gets any traffic with 1000 visits.
I did no backlinks (as per the Income School guidelines) but I just don't see much movement.

I have investigated the same question as the OP and I have info from a SEO business that starts new sites and collects info from them. They are telling me Google now takes upto 18 months to rank in even medium competitive niches.

You need to complete your site SEO (on page & off page), and you must have keyword research to relevance business. You need to have to make a strategy to your target audience and to define niche keywords to search terms.

Meanwhile, it takes time if you have done your site's SEO. It takes around 3-4 months to viewing results and it depends on how you want to make visibility of your brand as globally or locally in search terms.

Technically speaking, you will start getting organic traffic as soon as you submit your sitemap to Google Search Console and it is approved. A page or a blog post focused on a particular keyword may first appear on the 3rd, 11th, 27th page of Google results (depending on your content's quality and how high the competition is) but some people will still find it.

If you are asking when you are going to get the first significant amount of organic traffic then, depending on the quality of your content and a number of backlinks you manage to build, it may take you from two to six month (closer to six, actually).

You can only hope you get it right so you can actually achieve organic traffic (not every website does) believe that. So to change the answer up a little here, these are very good (short) tips for getting more organic traffic to your blog or website.

    1. Your on-site SEO
    2. Try to write content that both humans and search engines can easily understand

Or you can use SEO Ninja Softwares website for getting lot of traffics on your website, that's free SEO tools.
