Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to create a book (low content book) on amazon KDP without putting the name of the author on the cover.
I searched for an answer without succes.
Thanks

I have thought about writing an ebook also and would also be interested to see your perspective on not using a name.

Are you planning on making a series out of the book, or is this just a one-time thing?

If it's a series books that you plan on releasing, then use your name/client's name (with permission)/pen name on the books.

Seek out the requirements and terms for selling on Amazon Kindle. This is the first thing they want you to read anyway before you start selling on their platform.

Why wouldn't you want a name on the cover? I don't know any books without a name. Your name forms part of your marketing, especially if you're writing multiple books.

For example, J.K.Rowling wrote the Harry Potter books and then there were movies and now there is a stage show with some of them as adults.

George R.R. Tolkien will be forever linked to the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit trilogies (among other things).

My favourite fiction author is James Patterson. His name sells books as he's recognised as number 1 in his field. He lists ALL his books in the back of each book, offers snippets from other books, and co-authors books with skilled writers, the most well-known being Bill Clinton.

You asked the same question here in December - answer was to check Amazon TOS or use a pen name as many authors do.

When you set up the book in KDP you will have to enter a name, and I believe it only requires the last name.

However, I'm not sure how Amazon can check the cover since it's just a PDF.

hi. Thans for your reply. Just look at this book(not mine) https://www.amazon.com/dp/1545262241/. there is no name on the cover. I only need to know if we are obliged to write your name on the cover. For a low/no content book it is not a good idea for me.Do you see someone with a diarry/log journal with my name on it?

so your question is not about a book, it is about a blank journal? Well it is obvious from your resulting search that you do not need to put your name on it
