Transcriptions Revisited

I have been looking into transcribing my IG and FB videos. I would like to do this myself, but I am unable to find any software (for my Mac) that will allow me to do this (or ad subtitles) in portrait mode. I have an Android phone.
I know that I can pay for transcriptions, but I was hoping to do this myself. Does anyone have any suggestions other than Rev or similar services?
