Stripe & Paypal Alternatives For 2019

I agree all systems should do that but it turns out that's not necessarily true anymore, one of their reps told me they don't like the digital publishing business model.

He said it's an "unsustainable business model" and "too high risk".

Crazy right?

A wave of digital publishers were hit recently and hundreds of accounts were closed, but they were doing a "significant volume" of sales and were "flagged", according to the rep I spoke to.

However, I also spoke to two other reps who didn't have a clue about any of this.

i did hear alex about the tracking numbers, however they are kulling people in niches, that they do not like.

That is such an ignorant statement to make.

I have had personal, plus two business accounts with Paypal for bit over 15 years now. My personal account never had issues, and I enjoy paying for things using it. My business Paypal accounts are entirely different story. One was frozen for nearly 180 days in its first year yet only reason provided was that 'activity appeared to be suspicious'. Activity in question was simply accepting donations in form of 'pay what you want' for variety of simple software me and my partner coded ourselves. Simple software, nothing at all that should have been flagged by anyone. Paypal felt that we were receiving too much money too quickly after opening that account, and took over 5 months to finish their investigation. After that they restored account back, but it was still ridiculous thing to deal with.

The other Business Paypal was used for a Kickstarter project, as secondary means of collecting payments. Product in question was physical, and entirely legitimate. Again, Paypal decides there is 'suspicious activity', but this time they only take 6 weeks to restore account.

Stripe works fine, when it works. Unfortunately, Stripe has extremely sensitive system, and it does plenty of things I am not really happy with, like flagging too many customers as 'risky' simply based on country they live in, delaying payments, and randomly unverifying random accounts I have with them, then they take several days to reply to support requests.

If I did not use alternative payment options I would be losing ton of business every time Paypal and Stripe decide to act up. Solely relying on them is like relying just on one method of generating leads, suboptimal at best. I use them, but if they go down, I have 10 other options available and my business goes on uninterrupted.

I don't doubt that for a second.

Businesses that have not nothing to do with IM have also been hit because their earnings are high enough to hit the threshold and be flagged.

Some people I'm speaking to believe it's an algorithm at work, but I wouldn't have a clue.

well on facebook, i had 3-4 pepole talk about ORU, probably cause no charge backs, i like that.

But I am goign to look into this.... Im still deciding.

i am generating about 300 leads a day, and so tick tock LOL.

I've been using paypal for 5 years now without any issues but it scares me that my account could get shutdown randomly one day. What niche did your business operate in?

i feel if crypto gets bigger, there is gonig to be a big payment processor that will whollop paypal.

But the problem is, blockchain is in caveman days, and bitcoin also. Its hardly 10 years old. Which in that digital asset class is hardly even a baby.

good picks, yes while I do not get many charge backs at all, i think you are right.

world pay I am also looking at, they had a big piece done on them in WSJ newspaper.
