How Warrior Forum is Changing in 2019

These new updates sounds very optimistic and I am looking forward to using them.
As I am from crypto world and have business in crypto niche, I would like to see crypto section here in WF, as I genuinely thinking that there are many people who are interested in cryptos, blockchain technology, investing, STO's and so on and such section would be great.

An AI section will be great.

That's great. Waiting for these good changes.

Get a paid staff member to monitor the Warrior Help section and answer the posts about issues with any WSO section WSO's on a daily basis.

I'm excited about some of the changes on the horizon. going to be lively around here before long.

I'm glad to see what I see. Especially that there seems to be a constant good will to keep making this place better, despite the ups and downs of the few last years. It would be really too bad and sad to let go such an online marketing resource as the Warrior Forum.

There's been many frustrations for many of the old folks but I still believe that's only for the better yet to come. It's just normal "stratups" hops and bounds issues. Yeah, WF is not a startups per se, but still kind of like one for you guys anyway.

Revamping the Learn place is a surefire extremely good idea in my humble opinion. Observers all know everything is gearing towards Learning Online. There's certainly a gold mine or a pool of precious knowledge to discover among the warrior folks here. Anyway, that sounds very good and I might think of maybe try to contribute myself in some way, if all goes well with the new plan of course ...

As a first major suggestion I would make, if I may, based on my observation of how people communicate on this forum since the event of Facebook groups, I believe to make this place a nice and profitable place to stay, the Learn section should start with a "Forum Communication and Ethics" complete course. lol
Am I the only one who've noticed that people are NOT really discussing ANYMORE the majority of the time on this forum? It seems to me that people have become "facebook-like-group-users" and just come, read the headline and just post and pitch their "saying" right away without even bothering reading the thread and / or even taking into consideration what's been said often just above, and leave. Duh...

Hence, we see now long boring threads full of short answers dropped by dropping-by posters, all posting the same boring answers bringing absolutely NO MORE value to the long boring unending thread.

Is it because of the new forum format and how the threads are presented and seen, or is it because of the "selfish-meetoo-non-communication" habits acquired in facebook groups from the flood of a completely new generation of online users in the last 5-7 years? Who can say it right now, but for sure, again imho, it does not serve any one. No wonder growth of the forum is struggling, if the majority of users pulls not much value from visiting or participating in any way.

I believe that could make a lot of difference, everything starts with education, and then maybe Warriors could eventually spread their communication skills and ethics to the rest of the world, because all the world NEED this course in my very humble opinion...

This is all well and good but this forum's problem is not lack of education, it's lack of traffic.

From my observations, the majority of the experienced marketers were driven away by forum staff and total disregard for their issues. Asking people to participate because you really want their input, then totally ignoring them and proceeding with the destruction of something they felt was valuable is not the way to "grow" a dying forum.

All the "important" changes that have been implemented since FL took over have been epic fails. I don't see anything else in store for the future unless you know how to get 100,000 targeted visitors per day. Prior to the FL takeover, there were times when there were 200,000+ online at a time. A lot of people will blame it on social media and other online changes but the reality is, WF destroyed itself.

How are you going to bring a dead forum back to life? By doing things that have already proven ineffective? First, it was WAMA, then the WR was the ultimate marketing resource, then it was "the vault", then it was just promoting affiliate products ad nauseam. All epic fails.

I wish you good luck but have heard it all before.

I would return the forum to a format where the forum is primary rather than where feeds are primary. There was a time when everyone thought RSS readers would take over but they were wrong.If you look at the traffic before and after the purchase, practically every change since then has been wrong. I would try to reach out to the people who ran it so successfully for many years and get one of them back on your team.

I can understand why you would expect that - but William has just started and he is better qualified to run this forum than anyone I've seen for a long time.



By all means, say what you don't like - but give it a chance. What does it hurt to have some optimism? If the forum can be improved, we all win.

WHAT IS THE MISSION STATEMENT OF THE WARRIOR FORUM?

Why is this important to know? Maybe some of our likes and dislikes are in opposition to the mission, so that would help if you are able to share.

There is an inherent assumption, it needs to be profitable for the FL group, and when they bought it, they got big numbers of members.

It has been pointed out, numbers and traffic are way down.

So what is expected of the WF?

PS. For marketers to come here and set up their version of a kiosk or booth, they have to know the people visiting the marketplace are looking to buy those kinds of goods and services.

For a couple of years now, instead of an oasis in the desert, the WF has been a place to buy sand.

These days the old saying "Less is more" has never been truer in my experience. Note, that statement does not say "in my opinion" rather "in my experience."

Why is "Less is more?" In the wild wild west days of the internet people were curious about this new thing called the internet, especially curious internet marketers for obvious reasons, the curious gravitated to this forum. Long content that addressed the curious nature and long discussions led to things like long sales copy, the rise of ClickBank which led to discussions about ClickBank Marketing, eBay Marketing, websites and website Marketing (think Template Monster), WordPress and eventually Flippa. We can go on and on, payment processing, email marketing, etc. In those days "More was king."

Nowadays, 20 odd years later, the wild wild west days are long gone.

Nowadays, the would-be marketers is a different generation with different wants and needs and more importantly their own ideas of entitlement.

That means forums have had to change with the times.

These days "Less Is More" to the new generation. They simply see a forum with what appears to be an endless list of topics. It confuses and frustrates them. They click away and seldom return. That is a major reason why forum participation is down.

One way to improve forum participation?

Dumb down the forum! Meaning "Less "topics" is more appealing to the new generation of would-be Internet Marketers." Ask yourself this.. if you go to a new college and see a list of topics like here in the forum would it confuse you? Last year, as a guest speaker at a community college I spoke about "Where to start" and showed the students an overhead of this forum. None had ever visited or even heard of this forum. Nobody knew where to start on this forum! Then I had them bring up the forum on their apples, etc. A whole new level of frustration!

I dont dislike anything about the forum, but i would like to see more mods commenting on threads, so that newbies can learn from the highly perceived intelligence of the upper level members on this forum. This way it won't seem like people are just posting to make noise, and the folks making "noise" aren't even making money themselves.

Traffic. Real traffic. Targeted traffic. What's the point of GREAT IM forum, if it CAN NOT bring great traffic to the forum itself? Were those traffic threads useless? Then... no wonder!

I think part of the problem is greed.

Allen, the previous owner, did so well partly because he wasn't greedy. He left a lot of money on the table because he was more concerned about the people on the forum. He wanted them to do well. He took great pride in helping people launch their businesses.

These days, it looks more and more like a money grab without a care for the community.

An example: I was thinking of putting an offer up (it's been years) around Black Friday. I looked through the WSO offerings to get a feel as to what was allowed and what was selling.

The first page of the WSO section had 4 to 6 different offers from the Warriorforum. The Warriorforum took up most of the front page from paying customers. You need to decide whether you want to be a marketplace or you want to sell your own products. Why would I want to pay a fee only to be knocked down the page by the same people I just paid money too? At least stay out of the WSO section if you want to do both.

It makes no sense.

I also wouldn't be banning people for 6 months at a time. I used to be a daily contributor and was banned (for speaking up about the WSO section and how bad this forum is treating it's community) for 6 months. Now I don't post hardly at all.

I guess you can either get triggered from criticism or you can take it as a way to improve. Getting upset and banning people will only hurt your bottom line. The previous manager got triggered at any and all criticism. I am surprised he was kept as manager for as long as he was.

Once you figure out how you want to make money with this forum, then you need to get traffic. That means paying for it because you lost so many people who drove the traffic to this place. Set up some learning events and advertise on Facebook groups.

Without the traffic there is no reason to pay you to advertise here.

I agree with many of your points but not the point you make above. This is a privately owned forum - it's not a democracy where members decide what is allowed to happen. That's to be expected when you pay $3 million for a site.

I know there are good plans in the works now - and I wouldn't say that if I didn't KNOW it. Whether they will come fast enough or go far enough remains to be seen.

For the first time in a long time we have admins listening to volunteer mods (and we are members first)...and making plans for improvements. I agree with laying out what the problems are.

Of course it is - and Ok to say what you think. Not ok to keep pounding that nail in post after post. Give it a chance - or don't. Your choice.

I look forward to the changes. I'd love to post more in-depth "HOW TO" posts in this forum.

Also, some sites to products have broken links. I would like more relevant products to review. Thanks for the updates.

Good, with the passage of time warrior forum is updating, you are bringing high level marketers , vetting process is becoming more stringent.
But subscription fees for war room is pretty high and the content is old as reviewed by few members. You should consider either to reduce the fees or make it lifetime or increase the value provided.

It is one of the best and useful forums I have seen over the internet. Hope the new changes will bring some more beneficial things for the users.

I would like to see a way to make posts on threads like able ( Add a like button) and maybe able to share the thread or the post on other platforms.

When something is got updated, there comes a huge positivity and hope. And surely all the demerits or worsened experienced are tried to drive way in the past yard. So, updating is a good practice to keep fresh and optimistic. I believe some of the changes will be useful for warriors. I appreciate the admin's initiative.

The best thing you could do for the forum is to get rid of the "modern view" or whatever it is called. Everything has been on a steep downhill decline since that flaming POS was launched.

This is great. I am new here so I'm still learning my way through Warrior Forum and I would like to know and learn more.

I think the last year changes of "sending old threads to Legacy WSO" was a wrong decision... and still I am thinking why you changed the Classified section to Underground ?

I can see massive traffic fall to my offers from last 12 months or so. Believe me I am still crying for those golden time of Warrior forum.

Lots of marketers ware promoting in the Classified section but now they are not active here. It is not that profitable as it was earlier but believe me I am still promoting here because I just love WF because it helped me a lot at once and still dreaming for those old days if they come back again.

Please do something my friend. Make the marketplace more attractive for advertisers and buyers.

I don't know where it's coming from but I've just saw A POPUP SALES PITCH from the Warrior Forum while navigating the forum???

Among the things I'd personally would like to see with the "forum changes" in 2019 ('we're already almost past 50% of it) SURPRISE POPUP PITCHING PRODUCTS is certainly NOT something I would enjoy... Not at All!

Another very important thing also, if you allow me, I saw you have started to send weekly "special deals" apparently something you guys might have carefully chosen at least that is what we have heard among the branches.... WELL, if you are attempting to gain back some fame guys, you just have missed it with the last "10x..." offer (you what it is I will not describe more) that is a total fiasco in terms of legitimacy of a product and vendor, and what one would call a "good deal"....

I do not know guys how you are investigating for those "deals" but a very simple research on Facebook about that one and you would have heard the talks from a lot of very reputable and high-level affiliate marketers, and other marketers in the know, talking about that "deal", that they qualify as a SCAM, and quite frankly one just need to read the sales copy for starting to see the many absurdities and lies on there to find out that there's something odd...

Whether this is true or not is absolutely not the point, right? It is what is perceived from others that will have the expected or NOT expected impact on one's reputation and brand. It's something to be extremely careful all the time, that said I was hearing about that SCAM deal of 10x ... (it even started a war somewhat) for more than a week already when I started to receive YOUR offer about this... WHAT? After all the sh.. about this deal on Social Media, and then the Warrior Forum started to sell it, that has certainly sent a wave of uncertainty among many people who are on both platform in regards to the Internet And Affiliates Marketing World.

Personally, it made me scratch my head, BIG TIME...

That may not be an improvement?


One or two of the threads "Related Discussions" lead to an existing thread which may improve engagement, however since it is just a link in a crowded sidebar I question if a user will actually see it?

Create a forum dedicated to Traffic? As of this post the only forum about related traffic is " Viral Traffic Network"located in "Private Forums".


Discussions about Traffic comes up a lot, so it would be good to have all traffic related discussions in a dedicated forum in my opinion. It would also be nice or advantageous for members to have a "Basic Guide" written and stickied by a moderator.

Gotta figure tinkerin' with the back end is a surefire platform for pullin' on developments up front.

WF feels cleaner an' more purposeful than I seen in a while, so that is cool by Moi.

Always welcome about the new update.

The idea of high-level marketing, quality content and the opportunity for us to share our thoughts is a welcome direction for a win win position for us.

I will like to see more cutting edge content on internet marketing, for newbie.

We appreciate the feedback but would like to keep this thread for constructive criticism. I understand your frustration with the forum's past efforts and we are working towards improving the user experience as much as possible.

This morning I was trying to reply to a Warriors who want to hire you ad. As I was about to reply I was hit by 4 pop-ups. (Just stop that!!!)
Then I realized the post was from December (even though it was the first one), so I thought I would sort on the date to get something more recent. The presentation format did not allow me to do that. At that point I gave up and decided that I was wasting my time here. (You should be able to figure out what changes are needed from this post but I have previously listed them too).

I miss the old warrior forum where we use to actually discuss things ( now it feel more like reading articles and commenting on it ). We had much more interaction with each others.

I used to be very active on the warrior forum and very familiar with pretty much most of the war room warrior. Today, looking at how these feel more like comments, I don't recall the last time i paid attention to the commentor

Well, here we are, another year older, no post from the latest intern at warrior since June on our latest updates.

And what have we learnt? Hottest marketing trends? they must have been n gone?

Where have we grown? implements of initiatives? say what? please shine the spotlight on this because I missed it.

The best deals? missed that one as well must have been a flash sale.

Don't know what to say here the stance on warrior WSO are to in themselves strange, in that they stand at the front door and hold up a sign that says no copy that has income claims, results and all of that crap, and yet you can pay for a banner ad that breaks all forum / WSO rules and to top it of one running now contains fake users and profiles on their website and runs with warrior logos all over it.



Simply no concern when it comes to taking the money at the back door, sure you can come in with your slim shady shit, so long as you pay.

If I remember i was told to shudda uppa my face at the beginning of the year, to let the new kid on the block have his run?

So I did.

Without putting anyone or anything down (It really must be a tough gig to get the warrior forum gig now with so many falling by the roadside), It seems like just maybe things have slowed down, even more, the only active threads mostly new posts a 1 liner from spammers, or some off-topic post about my dogs back leg in a world of mystical madness.

They do have their own in house poster now it seems writing short posts to try and stir some interest by reposting some other trends or news feed?

Who knows but I hope it does, just seems like it gets a little harder each day for it to come back like a phoenix from the ashes.

Hi Warriors, or at least those who are still pondering here.

In the last 12 odd Years I have only popped back in here to keep watching the decline with the hope it can get back to the glorious times where this forum used to be the number 1 source of training, information and real help when asking for help.

Now it seem that the forum declined to less than a shadow of its former self. I remember when Allen sold the forum there were many top voices who predicted this would happen.

I must say however it is nice to still see some of the Old Timers around.

I would suggest if admin want to revamp this forum to at least better than a shadow, they need to do so with some speed.

The posts used to be well indexed in G, but now seem to have dropped to a trickle.

Admin also need to engage the visitors looking through the window to come in the front door and get active. Also do some campaigns to bring back into activity some of the 1,4 M members.

Just my 2 cents.

recently uncovered a banner ad that broke just about every forum rule and then to cap it off it had fake reviews, but today another ad now with phishing attemps attached.

So if you see this banner ad avoid it

No further comment on how warrior approve ads here, that's their call.
