hello Everyone!

I want to sell cbd oil as an affiliate and I'm wandering if If this market isn't oversaturated, maybe there is a niche that's not . I want to sell over FB ads. And maybe someone could recommend some brands? That would be kinda well known and good quality?

This is where basic niche research comes in. No one here is going to do it for you. lots of tutorials are available on youtube just use their search function, you can also use the search function here at the top of the page. Start searching and learning

    Vegetable Oil isn't saturated.

With that out of my system; Don't be put off by people claiming that things are 'over-saturated'. That's just a pessimists way of saying something is popular. Instead, seize the opportunity and feed the demand. CBD is currently an 'in' thing and you can be part of it.

As mentioned, take time to research the leading and popular brands who offer affiliate programs.

You can buy CBD oil locally. I'm typically not a fan of promoting anything that someone can get locally. However, I think it is still something many don't know about.

Personally, I would try promoting a free trial + shipping offer rather than a straight sale. Free trials tend to convert much higher.

CBD oil isn't allowed to be advertised as per Facebook and Instagram's rules. Have had many clients come to me and had to tell them this unfortunately.

It's a fad and if you go to the places it is allowed you will see that it is massively over-saturated. "My CBD oil is better than yours" is what it's come to. BTW - It's worthless gunk that any eighth-grader with a basic knowledge of chemistry can make in their bedroom, but having the basic knowledge of chemistry they never would because it's worthless. AHHH...people.

A 'fad' is an 'in thing' and competition, marketing slants, ease of preparation, or subjective usefulness do not negate this fact and whatever you are doing in your bedroom is no-one's business.

      'People' indeed!

A Fad? Funny, look at how many pharmaceutical companies are involved in CBD. You may not like it but you should get educated on the topic. And by the way, many plants have healing properties.

The CBD niche is huge and growing rapidly. There is stiff competition, but even if you can capture a small piece of the pie there is money to be made. Facebook and most other social media sites prohibit advertising CBD. So do most search engines. That means you will have to do things organically, or even focus on OFFLINE advertising, which is what I prefer anyway.

Some of your options are to private label your own CBD products, promote a CBD MLM Company, which gives you leverage, or you could even just focus on teaching and training people about CBD and promote affiliate products, your own courses, etc.

    I hope that helps.

  • You have to put in the work to figure out if people online are looking for cbd oil. Check to see if there are forums, blogs, websites, social media groups, and even offline places to see if there is a demand for cbd oil. I understand you're a relatively new member here, but you gotta put in the work - cause nobody's working for free.

As mentioned above - you need to learn about the limitations of advertising this type of product.

I dont think its oversaturated. I sell a health and weight loss product on FB, have done for 5 years. Selling on FB is about building relationships with people and showing the benefits of the products, testimonials etc.

People buy weight loss products from me instead of from Holland & Barrett because they trust me, they see me using the products, they see my results. I cant recomend selling on FB enough. Sorry I cant offer much help on CBD but good luck

CBD Oil is the next gold rush! Even Inc. magazine wrote about it recently. While it is still in the Gray area and you need to tread carefully, it does have a lot of potential.

Just a little quote from The Street:

"This year, CBD products reached $367 million in sales and New Frontier expects the market to be worth $1.2 billion by 2020. According to the data, over 25,500 acres of land were devoted to growing hemp in 2017. The hemp was grown in 19 states and the majority, 70%, was devoted to CBD."

Really you just have to test and find out yourself. No-one can really tell you the correct answer here.

Good to know CTST which was listed on the NASDEQ recently or is very big in medical hemp products in Canada should go up more than down.

Didn't make anything on CTST yet, but l always tend to gravitate towards CRON, that overall is a viable investment.

But don't get me wrong it is still volatile, and the average newbie would lose on it long term, if they are worried about any significant downturns.

But if you understand the beast, and do your homework, (in a manner of speaking) then it can be a good vehicle.

    At least for me.

CBD has done me right, from a health and business perspective! I've built my business mostly through postcards and email marketing. It definitely works because MOST people are looking for natural ways to get healthy so they no longer need prescription drugs.

CBD is far from saturated. Talk to 10 people you know and maybe 1 of them takes a CBD product. That means there is a lot of money left on the table.

You can buy both buyer and partial lists that were generated from CBD trial offers.

Partials are when a user fills out the order form but doesn't place an order.

The US Federal Government still classifies Marijuana (and its extracts like CBD) as SCHEDULE 1 drugs.

Outside of using PBN backlinks to promote your site, I don't think you can find PAID AD platforms that will allow advertising of such products.

The two things I like about this market is there's the big potential for lots of repeat business and strong brand loyalty. But ignore people that say it's a fad it's no more a fad than essential oils. But because of what it is your marketing outlets are going to be limited.

It is saturated right now, but if you have a product that sells and proper advertising then then sky is the limit. Keep hunting for cbd / hemp / cannabis friendly areas to post content.

I totally disagree with those saying CBD is a fad or the market is saturated. Analysts at Brightfield Group project $22 Billion in CBD product sales by 2022. CBD is an incredible product that people want to try if they haven't & continue to use once they do. Many countries where CBD was prohibited are starting to open the doors for sales. The company that I buy CBD from & promote is skyrocketing in sales with $100 million in 2018 & heard a rumor of $500 million+ this year. Other CBD companies/brands that have their crap together also are seeing revenue numbers explode.

Right now 14% of Americans say they use CBD products according to a very recent gallup poll ( see https://news.gallup.com/poll/263147/...-products.aspx ). In that poll you also see the reasons why people are using CBD - 40% of users utilize CBD products for pain, 20% for anxiety, 11% for sleep, 8% for Arthritis & more. These users are creating tremendous word-of-mouth advertising for CBD. Marketers can't make medical claims but people are taking CBD for a reason. Many people are switching from meds to CBD plain & simple... that process won't stop. Luckily - CBD is now being studied in multiple clinical trials ( https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/resul...e=&city=&dist= )

Another thing marketers & consumers should be mindful of is if their CBD is safe & legal... or if it has what it says it has in the CBD product. The Associated Press used an outside laboratory to test different CBD products. According to AP, "At least 128 samples out of more than 350 tested by government labs in nine states, nearly all in the South, had synthetic marijuana in products marketed as CBD, according to information the states provided." Psychoactive chemicals are being added to CBD products. Be smart & make sure your CBD company is US Hemp Authority Certified to make sure quality standards & good practices are in place. See the list of certified companies at https://www.ushempauthority.org/certified-companies .

You can't promote CBD "yet" on Facebook Ads, Adwords, Bing/Yahoo. However there are at least a couple ad networks targeting CBD advertising on health sites as well a couple for cannabis-related sites. Native advertising, podcast sponsorship, forum advertising, blog advertising, email advertising, banner ad networks, offline advertising are some other sources for promoting CBD. Social networking on Facebook as some else mentioned is a great method... you just can't use Facebook Ads.

Different brands do well in different markets. So you need to choose your market and do some research on a brand that sells there.

As I said earlier, safety is important. So ensure that the CBD oil you take to the market complies with all the safety requirements.
