Facebook course for local service business

I fancy doing some computer consultancy for home users and small business. I used to do it in the past but that was a long time ago. My goal is to use Facebook for lead generation.

Any recommendations on some quick, basic courses for using Facebook for local lead gen for a service business? I want something that is fairly basic and quick to go through. Not a big mumma type course.

I've done a little Facebook advertising before, about a couple of years ago and have loads of previous experience as an online marketer. I just need fast onboarding for Facebook and also to avoid doing something that gets me banned on their platform, like I was on Google Adwords.

Thanks.

Why would you need to pay for this?

Have you got a website set up, installed FB pixel and got an FB ads account set up?

FB is doing a lot of guided stuff themselves and you can just get a walkthrough with one of their consultants if you need a refresh and then go from there.

You can jump on with someone at FB on Zoom and screenshare and they will take you through the options.

They are getting a bit like Google Ads in that way and FB is trying to get more advertisers so it isn't that hard to get them to help you if you reach out or just start and they will contact you.

    Best regards,

I figure there are some pitfalls that could lead to an infringement, so I was thinking a course might cover that. Also, a decent lead gen method for local service businesses could be taught by someone who has done it.

So you think paying someone to lead the horse to water is better than going straight to the source?

If you get guidance from Fb themselves they won't ban you but they will point out what needs to be in place first for you to work with them.

jmosticc22 mentions material on digitalmarketer and they do have free stuff but they also have a paid certification program which is on hq.digitalmarketer.com One of their certifications is in Paid Traffic and Customer Acquisition which focusses heavily on Facebook.

It is a nice straightforward course structured in a LMS so you get quizzed at each stage. It might suit your needs if you want something that is well structured.

I'd still probably go the Fb help me route but if you must pay someone then DM is as good as any at deliverables if you prefer to have the meter running.

      Best regards,

      Ozi

I have not seen a course exactly like you are talking about, but I have done some coaching on it and I think it would be a good concept for a course. I might put something together.
If you have specific questions let me know.

You could check out digitalmarketer, it isn't a course but there is a lot of good resources that could help you with the FB stuff.
