For starters, I would say focus on building an IG as it's fairly easy to get momentum fast in the health niche. Then focus on quality content and ranking in Google as in SEO. After that, you can focus on paid traffic.

If you have a budget and you want targeted traffic, I will contact a social media influencer and collaborate with him/her. Make sure to contact one which is related to your niche "health".

1. Getting traffic from different places like paid, referral, organic and social. Paid through ads, referral from other websites, organic from SERPs and social from social media.
2. Be active in your social media channels. Do promotions/ contests, etc.
3. Create compelling meta data.
4. Invite others to blog in your site
5. email marketing
6. Join industry related forums and Q and As
7. Comment on industry related blogs from sites with a lot of traffic
8. Write content for your site, do guest blogs and send content to aggregator sites

Another simple way to drive more traffic.

1st) Write an extraordinary article - Do a great research about the topic and craft a deep article that answers readers about their problem. Example how to minimize backpain (health niche). I do suggest to get some good case studies to show how your solution has practical results.

Provide great images and if possible videos about your article. I Believe a good metric is to have an article with at least 2000 words, but if you want to write more words providing value, i am quite sure your audience will thank you.

2nd) Start doing Outreach - Contact all the medium to big size bloggers about your article and how much value it will provide to their audience. Then if he liked it ask him to share your article (you can use a template to share with him). This is a way to boost the traffic going in your way.

You will be amazed how many Bloggers will read and reply to your e-mail and will agree to share your content for FREE.

It takes time, but will worth it.

You can always use social medias, the best free traffics that i would suggest are youtube and instagram, they are very hot at the moment and you better catch up the trend train or you will miss out

For instagram, just create an account representing your blog and if it is about health, post some pictures or videos that give values related to health niche, if you do it consistently, you would create an audience there as well as giving more traffic to your blog, that is just like hitting two birds with one huge stone

For youtube, just make a video, you do not need to be in the video, powerpoint video also works because people just want to know the health benefits that kind of stuff in the health niche right. But if you are doing personal branding, then you would need to be in the video and position yourself as an expert.

But ask yourself about what can you do?

I mean, can you put the effort to do the work? If so, you can do more to get free traffic. Facebook is a great way to go. You can start really quick to get free traffic

Can you spend money to buy traffic? If so, I would recommend you to buy traffic from bing ads. It's the cheapest targeted paid traffic that I've ever known.

I'm generating sales consistently with bing

I think the web has just gotten too crowded in general. Every day maybe 50,000 new websites going live. And millions of blog on popular blogging platforms. So effectively it's extremely difficult to get found in the crowd and build traffic. And you can do all that seo stuff and it still doesn't matter much. It's just extremely and ever increasingly competitive. That's the sad reality. But they say if you find one thing that works a little then really double down on that thing. It's just tough out there though. Even a lot of the paid advertising is total and complete garbage these days. You're paying for bots to visit your site. Even on the biggest brands. Its' sad.

You did not share what traffic you are using now! Have you tried Google video ads? I'm getting views for around 3 cents per view right now and have a good click through rate and my landing page is converting at around 42% and this is with cold traffic. That means for every 20 visitores to my landing page Im getting around between 6 and 8 sign ups to my list.

I was pretty surprised how much traffic I got from Pinterest. My latest site is pretty much dead in Google right now but I am able to get up to 100 visitors to my blog just from good Pinterest pins and posting into groups and using Tailwind tribes. It's nice to see traffic even when Google is sandboxing the site.

Adding value to Facebook groups is also worthwhile.
