Writing my first guest post

Hello wonderful people!

I have decided on my niche. I want to write my first guest post for the same. I have trouble in starting to write one. What are some things that I should keep in mind and what all things will increase the effectiveness of my post. Would help if some tips could be provided on how should I go about it.

Thanks.

Decide your topic and focus on it through out the write up.
Get acquainted with the styles of popular guest writers but make sure not to copy their styles.

Write informative content with proper research. Use Infographics/video/image inside your content. the title should be unique.
If you want to write for SEO than make proper keyword research on your topic and bind your content with all keywords (ie H2,H3 etc) Publish the video on the same topic and keep than inside article.

Write the best article you can write. Treat it like your own article. It will drive traffic to your website and give you a nice backlink that has content around it (keywords)

Write your guest post the same way you write for your own site

    First, the Tough Love:

Why did you agree to do this or seek it out if you didn't know what you wanted to do?

This is a baffling thing I see here and in FB groups, "I got the job; now what do I do?" What the heck are you doing taking on these roles if you don't know what to do in the first place?!

    Second, the advice:

Who's the audience of the platform you'll be guest writing for? What topics are they interested in?

What interesting point of view can you bring them about one of those topics?

Take them from confusion to realization. There are a bunch of options out there regarding how they could move forward? OK, which is best and how can they decide? They have a bunch of symptoms they're experiencing that tell them they're in a bad situation? OK, what process can they go through to get out of that?

What perspective do you bring to the table? What expert knowledge, experience, point of view do you have that will help the reader gain understanding and clarity, so they can move forward?

Use this as the driving energy of your article.
