Questions about Craigslist ad posting software vs hiring humans to post my Craigslist ads

Questions about hiring people to post Craigslist ads vs using software...

1) What is the BEST Craigslist ad posting software? (I'm currently looking at http://autopostingtools.com/ for $150.00 and http://www.cladpin.com/ for $287.00.)

2) There are many threads on this forum of people looking for someone to post Craigslist ads. Why hire someone when you can use software?

3) Aren't the people you hire to post ads using Craigslist ad posting software?

Thanks

What kind of ads are you wanting to post that are so tedious or difficult you need to outsource?

When people are outsourcing, it's either because they don't have the knowledge to do it themselves or they don't have the time and they want to focus their attention on what they do best in their business.

The people they hire could be using ad posting software, but they probably have perfected a system with that software that will still take you time to learn. Two people can use the same ad posting software and get very different results.

I sell a lot of things on Craigslist and I really don't want to outsource it which is why I was thinking of getting the software. I would really like to know which one is the best.

    1) We have tried all the so-called automated Craigslist posting solutions and Not one of them can keep up with and adapt to the constantly evolving ad filter updates. That requires human intervention to diagnose and isolate flagging sources, split test all the countless ad variables to uncover the next best working ad combination. I don't know of any software which can properly handle all that. How will you use this software to compensate the first time all your ads are tracked and flagged?

That is akin to expecting to find SEO software which adapts to the constantly evolving Google ranking updates which happen on a daily and weekly basis. Very unrealistic.

    2) For all the reasons I stated above, we ONLY perform posting manually.

    3) No they are not. That is a major misconception.

All these questions indicate that you are severely underestimating the level of sophistication that exists in the Craigslist filters which vary by section and even by city. These filters can latch onto even the most subtle campaign footprint such as phone, trigger words/phrases and even ad format.

Good answer! A perfect example is that just this week, CraigsList changed the way their credit card payment form displays. When a site changes a form, automated software cannot adjust to it and you end up with ads that either don't post or after repeated failed attempts, your account gets locked.

Worse things could happen, as well. Changing the layout of a Craigslist page could result in the wrong ads getting posted to the wrong places, too.

When any of that happens (and it will quite often), who's going to fix the programming problem in the automated software?
