Is there a multi-Mailbox service in the UK?

Hi Warriors,
I need a mailbox service for the UK that provides multiple mailboxes, for lots of different towns and cities. This would ideally be a multi-mailbox service because I'm not just looking to use one for myself (not just one location).

I wish to be able to build websites for lots of local UK businesses, and will therefore need to register the local addresses with Google (using one of my mailboxes instead of the address of the existing local biz).

Apparently Google doesn't like PO boxes when dealing with 'local biz' registrations.

After carrying out a G search, my closest city is £40 per month for just one mailbox (one address), which is going to be too expensive for me because I may end up needing 20 or 30 different addresses.

Does anyone know of a marketer who has solved this issue in the UK?

I'd be very grateful for any guidance with this.

Thanks for replying... Yes I did carry out a few searches. The companies I found seem to just offer some addresses for one or two different places in the UK. They do offer Street addresses instead of just a PO box, which is what I am looking for, but I just need a lot more towns.

I am considering contacting people online and asking if they'd consider letting me use their residential address.

Curious - Why would a business hire you to build a website for THEM and use your mailing address? Sounds like the customers would be contacting you rather than the business....

I could contact them first and ask if they'd be interested in hiring me, but if I didn't have anything to show them, I wouldn't be able to prove my ability (no website portfolio).

However, if I built the site first (& did the SEO) and sent them traffic, I'd contact them after, and have something already set up and working, to show them what I can do.

I think that's a bad idea. If I were one of those small businesses and found out you'd been using my company's name, writing about my business, and directing traffic to one of your own mailboxes, I'd be pretty peeved - no matter what your intentions. Far better to be upfront and promote the site with the owner's blessing.

If you want to demonstrate what you can do with your SEO skills, either show them an existing site you've created - ideally related to their business - or build a generic site (e.g. local plumbing services) for their specific town or area.

You didn't answer my question....even if a busienss hired you to build a site and marketing plan for their business....why would they allow YOU to own/contorl the lead generation process or the contacts generated from the marketing?

If you don't have a portfolio - BUILD one. Create fictional business names and build sites for those businesses...use them as examples of what you are capable of doing. You could also build a full marketing plan for each 'fictional' business.

If you want someone to hire you for your 'skills' you have to demonstrate the skills. Frank is correct - you should not build anything using specific company names unless that company HIRES you to do so.
