    Hi Djordje

Should you first make sure you understand yourself the question you ask.

What do you mean exactly by "advertising on google"? That's a very vague question, and the answer can be more than overwhelming asked as is, there are many ways to "advertise on google" and, well, let me guess, hundreds of millions of websites using their advertising services.

    What's your goal?
What do you want to accomplish?

    Regards,
    Andy

My guess is that they are looking for sites to send email spam to, offering their Google advertising optimization services to.

I see what you mean however, with his clarification it sounds more like "cold clients outreach" than "sending spam" it's not the same thing even though some may think it is.

If you are offering a service and when you visit a website among your target market and find that they would need your service there's absolutely NOTHING WRONG in contacting the website owner to offer your service. lol

And that is everything as a good sale tactic but spam. Especially if you contact them from the information they left on their website, then it is more than legitimate to contact them since the owner leaves a meaning TO BE CONTACTED.

          Cheers!

You can justify it however you want, but getting email from companies that you did not solicit is no different than receiving phone calls that you did not ask for. Both are legally considered spam, which is why the federal Do Not Call list and the Can Spam Act exist. Sure, you can get away with it once, but you better have an opt-out in those emails for people/businesses to be removed from your list and honor it.

              Hey Dave,

I'm NOT justifying anything I'm stating facts as how it works in sales. Been fourty years in sales of all kinds, I think I know how it works. Plus in hosting for twnety years, I think I know what SPAM is. It is not when you hate to "being solicited", that's not what spam is. Plus you states laws that you seem to not really know the details of. What I described as a way to contact leads, the OUTREACH technique, which is done by millions daily is perfectly compatible CAN-SPAM law, and has NOTHING TO DO with a "do not call list".

Your comment sounds confused, but for sure you should read again carefully as what you are talking about could be legitimate but is TOTALLY another thing than what we are talking about here.

              Have a nice zen day.

Perhaps you need to read a little more closely before you start reacting emotionally and lashing out. As I stated, you can get away with it once but you better have an opt-out with your unwanted, unsolicited message, and you better honor that opt-out when it is requested or you are definitely violating the can-spam act.

LOL wow that's so funny and immature of you. The art of attributing to others what one has conceived in his own imagination...

Who's reacting emotionally, me? And, where is the lashing?

You have no more arguments, or sound refutation to what I'e said, no, you stated what you stated, you state it again and that's it, we have to shut up?

YOU are the one who came with a presumption against the OP and thrown false accusation at him on top of that based only on your OPINION... And then YOU lash emotionally if we do not agree with you (it's the second time now), and then you make us waste our time and get totally off topic. This is not a SPAM not SPAM debate and your contribution as an initial comment has NOT brought anything constructive... And now you want to add more ???

When you read (not sure if you do it outloud or in your head) keep in mind that you CANNOT guess the state of emotion of the other party, the tone of its voice is not necessirely the one you think you hear, and so what you believe is only IN YOUR HEAD.

Precisely, there was no emotionally lashing reaction on my part at all, you just did not appreciated to be contradicted, clearly. Because all I did was stating simple facts... All without anger or any emotions in the like, ho yes just a little smile on the face while I write because I like to help others... It's all I've been doing, it's my only motivation and intention whatever your emotions crystal ball detects...

                  Thanks for participating

P.S.: about what you'd stated, I did think I'd need to clarify that, and as a sign again that we're not talking the same thing, when you are contacting someone from the information they left on their website, you do NOT need any opt-out meaning fgs, you have just contacted them by their own mean you have not put them on a list fgs, you have just contacted them... they're not on a list... nor on a phone call list... It's not because you do not like to be sollicitated that way that it is automatically SPAM...

                    1) Yeah, calling someone "immature" is not reacting emotionally at all.

                    2) Nobody "made" you (which for some reason you have now defined as "us") waste [your] time. You decided to do that all on your own.

                    3) Perhaps you have some really convoluted interpretation of Requirement #5 in the CAN-SPAM Act. Sure seems like an opt-out is mandatory to me - no matter how you got an email address. Whether you have a list or not, emails still have to have n opt-out - even if you know you are only going to send that one email to somebody. I also highly doubt most people are adhering to Requirement #4, which is including your "valid physical postal address" in any email sent to people.

    Try spyfu and similar tools

These tools specialize on finding competitor advertisers on all niches on Google

Find the niche you're looking for, find the advertisers, get their sites, get their contact info

WARNING: lead outreach usually has a very LOW conversion rate - 1:1000 is not unusual

You need a large starting base of leads to pull this off

To get the volume you're looking for, you might want to look into getting a VA

I had a very similar task to perform not that far ago. Here is how I solved it:
    1. Download top 1M websites list
    2. Get SimilarWeb stats on those sites by using SimilarWeb API
    3. Select those websites that have paid search score > 0

You can also get websites with specific technologies from BuiltWith and then gather data only on those websites. For example, if you need only those websites that use email marketing tools, you download a list of AWeber, MailChimp etc sites from BuiltWith and then collect traffic data from SimilarWeb API.
