Well, your user base should be the very best place to start with.

Most of the time, user who use the service and draw benefits from it will gladly become affiliates to start with. I recommend you use a software to allow you to provide affID to new users automatically, it's best since users who are already signup has affiliates without the hassle of registering as an affiliate, are more likely to give it a try especially if you provide them with all the tools and tips they need to do so.

To draw traffic to this kind of website an inbound marketing campaign should skyrocket it to the roof in very few months. Producing educational content, new every week (at least) to address the interests of your target market and syndicate that content on every place that you can, on a regular basis.

Join Top JV notify websites like mucheye.com, JVnotifypro and warriorjv.com...

Second, there are massive facebook groups about affiliate marketing join and announce your product there...

Third, make sure to launch your products on both JVzoo and Clickbank because both have huge affiliates database and they'll pick up your products from there...

Fourth, you can also use clickbank advertising system to promote to their BIG database of affiliates.

Implement these and you'll get the ball rolling...but before that make sure you have quality offer with hypnotic sales copy that's tested well.

Include a link to your affiliate program on your website. By this you increase the chance that more people will notice your offer and sign up for it.
Join Affiliate Communities. This gives you the possibility to get in touch with your potential affiliates in an inexpensive way. Try to help them with their problems, write some tips and tricks for them and you can undirectly promote your own affiliate program as well.
Create banners, write articles and promotional emails which they can use. They will appreciate that, whereas the start for them will be easier.

To me, I'd say YOUTUBE! People want visuals these days. It's easier if you can present that through videos. And you're not limited to youtube, as you can also share videos in Facebook. Get those hundreds and millions of views. It would be dope!

You can list your offers anywhere such as CJ, WP, JV Zoo and many other platforms but you need to do your own marketing to bring your visitors to these platforms. And I have found out that using FB ads is one of the ways to do it and the other will be Youtube. You can also work with influencers in your respective niche to leverage on their power.

It truly does depend on what you are advertising, how well your program has been doing and what conversions for your program look like. The best advice, however, is to just start by signing up on a network like Clickbank and JVzoo as a business.

I say this because as an affiliate marketer myself I know that those sites have a lot of marketers who are willing to put in effort, time and money to market your product, as I have done myself with many other products.

If you want to promote your affiliate progrm, then post it on
1. affiliatefix Forum, WarriorForum and other online marketing forums
2. get it listed on Offervault, oDigger and Affpaying
3. Post your offering on facebook groups.

If you want to promote your product, then
1. Get it listed on Clickbank, PeerFly, MaxBounty etc.
2. Or directly hire affiliate marketer through private chats on forums

I have read most of the advice from different users here and I concur with them that you need to diversify. Good suggestions for marketing your program on FB, LinkedIn, Twitter and so forth. But if you want to reach influential communities, I suggest you try Reddit. It is one of the places where you will meet people with diverse interest. It is currently the most influential platform in the world.
