Social Media Blog Traffic

So over the last 6 weeks or so I have been really focusing on driving traffic to my blog (mainly) and I really didn't think it would be a successful as it was. The platform I was using was Pinterest and automating it with Tailwind, so that it could essentially run on autopilot.
I want to know what other platforms have you had a lot of success with and can you automate it like this?

    Great! Yes Tailwind is a great an amazing helper regarding to bringing a traffic from Pinterest

    I would also suggest IFTTT google it! You can automate many posts and it uses a special algorithm
    We use it sometimes for a Twitter

    This is almost impossible to automate, but if you have a consistency, youtube is a great source of free traffic. Sure, it's hard at first, but it can pay off big time.

      I have personally found Facebook to be one of my most reliable sources of traffic for at least one of my cultural sites. I, however, understand that it depends on the topic of your blog.

    Pinterest is one of the most automate-able social sites out there.

    Very easy to grow.

    Other than that, you might want to look at basically any site on IFTTT.

    There are limitations.

    But those sites are mostly very automation friendly.

    Other than that, look into auto-recycling content automation.

    Works especially well with sites like Twitter, maybe Tumblr, etc.

    Thanks for the help guys, I have since starting using reddit as well however its not automated on my end at least, But I don't mind as it is more or less a forum like this! I am going to look in to IFTTT - to be honest I have never heard of this so looking forward to getting stuck in!

    You can also consider Instagram as it is also a source of free traffic. However, you need to do away with automation in this platform. The use of which can get your account deleted or blocked.

    Which niche are you operating in?

    Your niche should decide on the social media you should be in.

    Twitter and LinkedIn ... primarily for a B2B audience.

    Instagram and Facebook ... primarily for a B2C audience.

    Pinterest, Quora, and Medium ... flexible yet restricted for a handful of niches only.

    You must answer ONE question first.

    "Where does my audience hang out on the internet?"

    The answer to that should be your "pole star".

    If you're just reposting onto Pinterest, that's not enough

    Pinterest changed their algo recently and the traffic (untargeted as it was) just isn't as plentiful as before

    Focus on actually appealing to PINBOARDS that are NICHE-specific

    FB is another platform where you can automate postings. Twitter can also be automated using IFTTT
