Question Payment Processing Gateway Alternative to PayPal in EU?

Hi everyone,

I have a quite complicated situation and need your valuable opinion as PayPal has technically banned my business.

I have been running a copywriting company for a while everything was fine until PayPal announced that they are going to deplatform all the accounts associating with this industry.

Then my first account was permanently banned and I had no choice to open another account. I just want to say when they ban your PayPal account, they basically ban every single bank account and credit cards attached to that account so in future you won't be able to use them. In the last two months they have banned five different PayPal accounts and I am now left with no bank account to link to any new PayPal account. That is also a waste of time as it's going to be banned within the first week anyway. Nevertheless, they have hold my funds for 180 days which was basically all my capital. They really brought me to the point of crash down.

You may say just Google "Payment Processing Gateway Alternative to PayPal" and you will end up with plenty of choices to replace the PayPal. The problem is the other companies also have a strict policy against companies providing services like us.

I have also been banned on Stripe, Skrill, 2checkout, Adyen and many more. I am running out of options now. I have been told this industry is categorised as "high risk" industry, something equivalent to gambling, dating and adult websites. Most of high risk processing gateway firms have long application form, huge set up fee, very high commission fee (around 8%), long settling balance period (around 4 months) and terrible exchange rates.

Do you have any experience with payment processors on high risk industries? I really need some help.

This thread is an opportunity to learn for those new to payment processors and to paypal....

You don't have a complicated situation - you have a business that is considered 'high risk' - it's not just 'copywriting' - it's 'essay writing'. That business is known as a business that helps students cheat in their classes. You are not dealing with the 'cream of the crop' customers and payment sites recognize that.

That's fine - your business - but you will need to use a payment processor that is

long application form, huge set up fee, very high commission fee (around 8%), long settling balance period (around 4 months) and terrible exchange rates.
or your own merchant acct which will have the same (or more) requirements.

Paypal does not WANT to work with you - and apparently neither does any other reputable (and low cost) payment processing site. Your response was to try to fool paypal and keep opening new accts...paypal is smarter than that.

Bite the bullet and use high risk payment options - or keep having accts shut down and funds frozen.

We have used soarpay and twispay and radiantpay in the past when I ran a successful technical support BPO. It was 3 years back though I last used their service and I closed the business because we were not able to get enough legitimate calls and my business ethics didn't allow me to fool people.

All these are high risk and work in Europe as far as I can remember. All the best!!

Have you heard about 8Pay? If you're looking to add cryptocurrency payments to your store in future, this could be a great solution.
