Looking for a different way of generating revenue other than ads for a sports website

What are some other ways of generating revenue for a sports blog other than using adsense ads or Amazon affiliate items etc? I have a new sports website that I am looking to monetize in a different way.

Find sporting goods dropship suppliers that will ship directly to your customers. That will require setting up an eCommerce site/section of your blog where people can place orders, though.

Another way to generate revenue would be selling banner ads by contacting sites who might like to advertise. That is probably WAAAAY down the road, since it is a new website and you likely don't have proof of tons of visitors (nobody will pay to advertise on a site without a lot of traffic).

I would have to pay a fee to secure the wholesale deal right?

Heck no! We've never paid a cent to have a supplier dropship for us. If a company wants a fee in order for you to list their products, it is a scam.

You do what seems to be the hardest thing in the world for people these days - making a phone call to the manufacturer/brand/distributor and see if they will set you up with a dealer account and ship directly to your customers. You'll get your fair share of "nos" but in most niches, you'll find somebody who will dropship for you. This assumes, of course, that you are a legitimate business with a sales tax resale certificate - something easily obtained.

Online Ticket Selling might be a good choice.

You may want to try selling spots to influencers or advertisers to write featured articles for your blog.

I hear that! Have you ever heard of Brave browser and BAT token? Interesting concept that has publishers getting paid without having to publish ads on their site. Here's a Youtuber that got paid more with BAT than they did with Youtube Ads.

Here are some of my ideas.

    1. Sell advertising
    2. Clickbank products
    3. JV Zoo
    4. Work out a joint venture with other manufacturers
    5. Sell coaching or consulting
    6. Create a special membership VIP access bonus content
    7. Create some information products to sell

Those are just the first few things that came to my mind. Best of luck to you!

Dropshipping is the best model. You can list the product on your website related to your Niche from Aliexpress and get some good sales.

Create a $5 monthly newsletter for each of your sports that you specialize in.

Give them the tips, tricks strategies, interviews with stars, insider news and more that they are truly looking for.

The reason for a $5 newsletter is that once people join, if you really deliver the goods hardly anyone unsubscribes.

Then, you can also promote affiliate products in the newsletter as you know these are all 100% buyers.

Only affiliate just a little or you WILL get a bunch of unsubs.

I found this Instagram account on the basketball niche that charges $300 per post. That page appeared to be an established account with a decent amount of followers and good engagement rate. My point is, maybe you can utilize your social media platforms to monetize your social media platforms if you have any.

No matter what niche you happen to be in, I really can't see anything more lucrative then creating your own digital product.

You make a series of videos, pdf files, or a combination of the two. You then assign an arbitrary price to this product that you created, and then you are in business.

I don't know much about your niche, but if you can think of a way to create a digital product to sell from your site, then that is the route I'd go. Once you start making a few sales, it will inspire you to keep pushing forward.

In order to promote your brand and get income from it, you still need advertising. You can contact bloggers in social networks. Of course it is not free. But believe now a blogger with a large number of subscribers will bring you customers and income. There are also companies that are engaged in online advertising. Believe that you need to get the income you need and invest money.

I agree to the social media point. You can post deals and discount coupons on instagram and FB page. You can also run contests and give aways. I am sure it will help your kind of website.

I agree that dropshipping is a good idea for you. I recently watched a YouTube video of some dropshipper guy that said that these compilation or aggregation types of channels are not that expensive to get an ad (in the video). And he showed an example of a small YT channel (170k subs) where at every beginning of the video they promote sports phone cases. And he suggested that person gets a good constant amount, as well as the affiliate link / discount code.

If you can contact some established stores that sell anything sport related and ask if they are interested in getting promoted and if they have an affiliate deal, then I think you can get a good deal. If you are writing articles, you can include a paragraph at the end of your articles (where the more hardcore fans of your site are most likely to read the whole thing) saying that you've been sponsored and they can get a good deal using your code.

I have an idea. Encourage sellers to market their coupons on it. You will then pick the coupons and post them on coupon sites . If people find the codes and use them, you will make your commission.
